Mo Qian’s lips twitched slightly as he gazed down at the woman: "Don’t trust your husband’s cooking skills?"

"It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just too perfect," Ji Wei defended herself with a strong survival instinct.

"I learned a few tricks from a top Michelin restaurant chef in advance, and tonight is the perfect chance to use them."

Ji Wei was montarily stunned.

She didn’t know about this...

The thought of Mo Qian, already exhausted from managing the affairs of the Gu Group, still finding ti to learn Western desserts made her nose tingle.

"Try it and see how it tastes." Mo Qian cut a piece of salmon and offered it to her lips.

Ji Wei stared blankly at the fragrant food, sniffed, and lowered her head to take a bite.

It tasted just like in a Western restaurant!

"Is it good?"

She nodded eagerly: "Everything you make is the best."

Mo Qian was delighted by the woman’s unreserved praise; laughter flickered in his eyes, and he handed her a glass of red wine: "It’ll taste even better with a bit of wine."

Ji Wei looked deeply into Mo Qian’s eyes for two seconds before suddenly leaning in to plant a heavy kiss on his thin lips.

To mask her pounding heart, she tilted her head back and started gulping down the wine.

"Slow down..."

Even before Mo Qian’s words were fully out, the woman had courageously emptied the glass of wine.

Ji Wei’s face quickly turned red; she put down the glass and flashed him a silly smile.

Mo Qian’s forehead throbbed, slightly regretting letting her drink.

Not wanting to waste Mo Qian’s efforts, Ji Wei ate to her heart’s content, finishing her portion cleanly. She also didn’t skimp on the wine.

"Mo Qian, let’s open another bottle; we’re out of wine."

She grabbed the empty wine bottle beside her, turned it upside down and shook it, pouting her rosy little mouth.

Seeing the woman’s blurry eyes and increasingly flushed cheeks, Mo Qian shook his head with a touch of helpless indulgence, without agreeing.

"Can’t we? Then I’ll get it myself."

Ji Wei wobbled up, and sohow her slippers got kicked away, leaving her barefoot as she single-handedly carried the empty bottle towards the wine cabinet.

Mo Qian held his forehead, walking quickly to grab her hand, speaking in a low voice: "Weiwei, you’re drunk."

"I’m not drunk."

Ji Wei replied a beat slower, shaking her head in denial, "Really! I’m just a little hot."

As she spoke, she tugged at the neckline of her loungewear with one hand, "This outfit is too thick; I’ll change into sothing else."

She released Mo Qian’s hand, montarily forgetting about grabbing more wine, and headed towards the dressing room instead.

Mo Qian, not at ease, followed her.

Ji Wei leaned against the wardrobe door, half-squinting at the array of clothes inside, her mind a bit foggy, not knowing which one to choose.

Suddenly, her gaze fixed on a pile of bikinis originally prepared for a trip to Country D.

Those would definitely be cool to wear!

Ji Wei’s eyes lit up.

When Mo Qian walked in, he saw the woman haphazardly trying to remove her clothes, but she didn’t rember to undo the buttons first, ending up with the clothes stuck half on and half off, feeling uncomfortable.

"Mo Qian, co help !" Ji Wei stomped her foot in urgency and annoyance.

Trying to stifle his laughter, he quickly walked over, pulled the fabric off her head, and undid the buttons for her: "If you can’t even take off your clothes, you can’t claim you’re not drunk."

Ji Wei looked at him sluggishly, montarily at a loss for words.

Underneath, she was only wearing a bra, and as the outer garnt was removed, her fair skin was instantly exposed to his eyes.

Mo Qian’s eyes darkened abruptly.
