Mo Qian had to admire the young woman’s ability to fall asleep so effortlessly within minutes.
He laid her flat on the pillow, and his eyes lingered on her dress which had rolled up as she moved, revealing a pair of smooth, white legs stretched out before him, and even a glimpse of her pink panties.

Yet she slept without a care in the world, perhaps feeling a bit warm, she even reached up to pull at her collar.

With that said, Mo Qian turned and left, closing the bedroom door behind him.
Soon, Ji Wei heard the sound of a scuffle outside, followed by the door slamming shut, and everything fell silent again.
Feeling urgent, she couldn’t wait any longer and got up, carefully opening the door an inch.
Ji Wei first poked her head out to take a peek, finding Mo Qian walking back, their eyes t, and the man spoke first: "You can co out now."
Only then did Ji Wei step out with ease.
"What about them?" Ji Wei inquired, seeing the empty room opposite with its door wide open.
"I drove them away," the man replied with a cold face.
"..."
Ji Wei could imagine the sorry sight Second Young Master Xi must’ve been in when being chased off by Mo Qian, and silently sympathized with him for a few seconds.
While the two of them were having breakfast, Mo Qian received a phone call.
Mo Qian’s slender fingers picked up the phone and placed it by his ear, greeting with a "Mom." Just as he was about to stand up, sothing on the other end made him freeze suddenly.
"Are you sure? Dad is waking up?" he asked in astonishnt.
Ji Wei could sense a slight tremor and elation in Mo Qian’s voice.
Even she felt genuinely happy from the news about Gu Zhizhou showing signs of waking up, it was indeed good news.
