Ji Wei exited the store, opened the car door, and got in.

Xia Duoduo glanced back and forced a smile, "Where to next?"
"Let’s go buy so travel essentials," Ji Wei replied.
The two went to the supermarket, and half an hour later, they returned with bags of items. As soon as they loaded them into the car, Xia Duoduo’s phone rang.
"I’m in front of the departnt store plaza... Are you coming to pick up?" Xia Duoduo answered the phone, her expression a bit uneasy, "Alright, I’ll wait here for you."
Ji Wei noticed sothing and winked at her, "Got a date?"
Xia Duoduo awkwardly diverted her gaze, "Soone invited to a concert."
"A concert, how romantic! Co on, who is it?" Ji Wei elbowed her playfully.
Xia Duoduo blushed and awkwardly replied, "It’s that male singer whose singing was great last ti."
Ji Wei instantly knew Xia Duoduo was talking about Jin Xu.
Seeing Xia Duoduo’s expression, she suspected that Xia Duoduo might be quite fond of him.
"Since you have plans, I’ll drive back. I certainly don’t want to be a third wheel." She finally understood why Xia Duoduo returned suddenly amidst her tense filming schedule.
However, Xia Duoduo grabbed her arm, "Little Wei, I’ve accompanied you shopping. You should co with ... I’m nervous on my own."
To be honest, Xia Duoduo hadn’t really been on dates before; the first two tis were with jerks, just chatting in cafes. But today, it was going to a concert.
"You’re nervous? Show so dignity, will you?" Ji Wei said amusedly, poking Xia Duoduo’s forehead with her finger.
"Co on, you are my best friend. How could you not be there at a ti like this?" Saying it so seriously, as if it wouldn’t make sense for her not to join.
Ji Wei was simply defeated by her.
