William saw this and stopped her action, saying in a deep voice, "I’ll make the call."

He took out his phone, dialed the rescue number with a stern expression, and communicated the exact accident location fluently in English with the person on the other end.

After hanging up, he seriously told Ji Wei, "The rescue team promised to arrive within half an hour. Until then, our n will continue diving to search."

The bodyguards, now clad in diving suits, entered the sea one by one again, as the waves beca exceptionally turbulent, making it all the more difficult to find anyone.

There were six bodyguards in total, and one of them had to take the two injured ones to the shore by rescue boat to send them to the hospital. The remaining three took turns diving.

These everyday diving suits could only reach depths of over ten ters; any deeper was not feasible. Additionally, the nearby reefs increased the difficulty of the search.

As ti ticked away, the hope of Gu Moqian returning alive grew increasingly slim.

Ji Wei’s hands and feet were freezing, and it was as if all her strength had been drained from her body. She clung tightly to the railing, staring at the terrifying waves, her heart subrged in waves of despair.

"Mo Qian, co back! You promised never to leave alone again, so what is this? You are a liar who doesn’t keep their word!"

Ji Wei roared at the raging sea, and after hearing disappointing news from the bodyguards again and again, she beca unnaturally calm for a mont.

Those eyes, almost drained of tears and scarlet red, stared fixated on the water’s surface. Then she slowly stood up, holding onto the railing, a trace of a curve even appeared at the corner of her mouth: "Mo Qian, we said we’d live and die together. Since you can’t co back, I won’t keep on living either..."

William was just on the phone confirming the location with the rescue team once more, when he suddenly turned to see the woman taking off her shoes, standing barefoot on the edge of the deck, her foot already halfway out. It made his heart jump, and he rushed over and pulled Ji Wei back heavily.

"Let go, let find him. The sea is dark and cold; I can’t leave him down there alone. I need to find him!"

Ji Wei was completely overco with despair. The longer ti passed, the smaller the hope for Gu Moqian’s survival beca.

"Miss Ji, please calm down!" William’s expression was unusually stern as well.

"Let go of ! You’re with Ji Shanshan! Get away, don’t touch !" Ji Wei yelled, suddenly lowering her head and bit William’s arm fiercely.

Taking advantage of the mont William released her in pain, Ji Wei rushed back onto the deck. Suddenly, a wave crashed over, drenching her completely in sea water, and she fell to the deck in a ss.

Her hair was soaked and draped over her, her face fully covered in salty sea water, yet Ji Wei ignored it all, struggled to her feet, stumbling towards the sea with the only thought to jump in and be with Gu Mo Qian...

William had almost been thrown over by the waves earlier, and now seeing her still intent on jumping, he anxiously rushed forward.

Ji Wei stood there, swaying with the ship, and before she could move forward again, a massive wave ca, sweeping her directly into the surging waves!

William, battling the ship’s constant jolting, rushed over desperately, grabbing her arm just as Ji Wei was about to be swept away by the giant wave.

With all his might, he pulled the woman back onto the deck.

They both fell heavily onto the deck. Sea water filled Ji Wei’s nose and mouth, making her cough incessantly. Pea-sized raindrops pounded down from the sky, and for a mont, the world was nothing but a misty rain haze.
