Ji Wei stood outside the crowd, watching the reporters shower attention on a B-list actress while Xia Duoduo stood there alone, her face displaying a polite smile but unable to completely hide the awkward atmosphere.
Ji Wei felt a pang in her heart for her good friend, and her palms began to sweat.
She glanced down at the ti; there were still twenty minutes left until the event was over, and every minute and second of this situation was tornting Xia Duoduo.
Ji Wei’s face broke into a smile as Xia Duoduo looked over, offering her an encouraging glance.
With her best friend cheering her on from below, Xia Duoduo’s mood lifted a bit. She put on her charming smile again and faced the public.
Suddenly, there was a stir in the crowded group.
Ji Wei looked up and saw that the reporters who had originally surrounded the B-list actress were now all swarming in one direction.
Because of the distance, Ji Wei couldn’t see clearly, only managing to make out that the person surrounded by dia reporters was a man wearing a baseball cap and a white sweatshirt.
Could it be that a big celebrity had appeared?
"Jin Xu, can you share a bit about your new album preparation? We heard it’s going to be released globally..."
"Your solo concert at the Little Arena just ended, are you now on vacation? Do you have other work plans?"

Facing the aggressive questioning from the reporters, Jin Xu scratched his head in so frustration.
He had finally gotten so ti off to et friends for a al and dressed discreetly enough, his baseball cap pressed low, yet he was still recognized by the sharp-eyed dia.
He kept silent in response to the reporters’ questions.
Xia Duoduo stood on the stage and could clearly see Jin Xu being surrounded by the dia. Perhaps he sensed her gaze, as Jin Xu suddenly looked up in her direction.
The keen reporters quickly captured this mont, all assuming Jin Xu was looking at Lu Shasha, excitedly asking, "Jin Xu, Lu Shasha is on stage right now, aren’t you going to say hi to her?"
"We heard you’re both from the sa agency, your relationship must be great, right?"
Lu Shasha initially started as a singer but got hooked on acting and achieved so remarkable success, so she put her singing career aside to focus on acting.
In fact, if it weren’t for being in the sa agency, she would have no interaction with Jin Xu.

Jin Xu was wearing a white sweatshirt today, paired with jeans, the cuffs rolled up to reveal his fair and attractive ankles. He wore black Converse sneakers, presenting a full youthful vibe.
As this handso and appealing guy ca closer, Lu Shasha’s palms began to sweat from nervousness, her heart racing, and she even lowered her eyes, not daring to look directly at him.
When those Converse sneakers appeared in her line of sight, Lu Shasha bit her lip, gathered her courage, and raised her head, calling out excitedly, "Jin Xu..."
Jin Xu seed as though he hadn’t heard her voice at all, he simply stepped sideways past her and walked away.
Xia Duoduo watched the boy stop abruptly in front of her, her eyes widening in surprise.
"Miss Xia, I’m a fan of your TV dramas. Your ability to play two roles with such skill is truly impressive," Jin Xu said, watching Xia Duoduo with a gentle smile.
And then, he did sothing that shocked everyone present.
