Ji Wei didn’t react imdiately, and instinctively parted her red lips as the man instructed.
Gu Moqian swiftly fed the steak into her mouth.
Ji Wei’s eyes widened slightly, gazing at the man’s smiling expression, her heartbeat quickened.
"How does it taste?" Gu Moqian asked lightly, his thin lips barely moving.
Only then did Ji Wei start to chew a few tis, the steak cooked perfectly. Just as she swallowed and was about to speak, the man had already lifted the second piece to her lips.
"I... I’d better eat by myself," Ji Wei said sowhat bashfully, her cheeks burning hot.
Seeing her shyness and her evasive gaze, Gu Moqian’s eyes filled with amusent, but he didn’t put down the utensils, "Be good, open your mouth."
His voice, no matter how many tis she heard it, was always enticing and seductive, especially when he used the tone he reserved for coaxing An An—it made Ji Wei unable to refuse.
She hesitated for a mont but obediently opened her mouth to let Gu Moqian feed her.
And so, the whole plate of steak was fed to her in this manner.
"Do you want to eat anything else?" Gu Moqian picked up the chopsticks beside him, ready to serve her more dishes.
"I’m full," Ji Wei hurriedly said. "You... won’t eat?"
"I’m not hungry," Gu Moqian replied with ease.
From his expression and reaction, one couldn’t tell at all that he was under the influence of an aphrodisiac. Still, Ji Wei was vaguely worried, she bit her lower lip softly and asked, "Are you sure you’re okay?"
She knew how torturous that kind of drug could be, possibly Gu Moqian was just pretending to be fine, not wanting her to worry.
"It’s fine," Gu Moqian answered mildly, a hint of restrained hoarseness in his voice. He finished speaking and suddenly stood up, "You haven’t fully recovered, I’ll have soone take you back."
As he turned to get the phone, a wave of emotion surged in Ji Wei’s heart, and almost instinctively, she reached out to grab his wrist.
"I’m not going back, I want to stay here with you," the woman said resolutely as she looked at him.
Seeing the clarity yet determination in her eyes, Gu Moqian was montarily moved, he spoke in a low, hoarse voice, "An An is still at ho..."
"There is a nanny and Aunt Zhu there," Ji Wei blurted out.
"Your physical condition is not suitable to stay with ."
"How would you know if you don’t try?"
"..."
Gu Moqian looked at the woman’s determined stance, his heart softened, and his Adam’s apple involuntarily bobbed.
He felt that overwhelming fla he had barely suppressed rising again from his lower abdon, his blood starting to boil. A sudden warmth enveloped his hand as the woman’s soft hand held his.
Ji Wei unhesitatingly led him towards the large double bed, she looked back at him, her gaze clear and gentle, "With here, you don’t have to hold back."
Her words sent a jolt through Gu Moqian’s body.
His dark eyes beca even more dim and profound, his voice hoarse to the extre, making one feel as if there was an alluring whisper, "Do you know how dangerous it is to say that?"
Gu Moqian shivered slightly, he closed his eyes, forcefully suppressing the clamoring desire within.
Ji Wei looked at him quietly, with the stance of having made up her mind long ago.
"You’ve just recovered, there’s no way I would touch you," Gu Moqian opened his mouth with difficulty, his words light yet decisive, allowing no refusal.
"Seeing you in pain, I can’t just do nothing," Ji Wei retorted.
"Do you really want to help ?" he lowered his eyes to look at her, his eyes red and deep, asked in a husky voice.
"Yes." Ji Wei nodded seriously and earnestly.
"Co with ," Gu Moqian sighed softly, perhaps a bit helplessly indulgent, and pulled her hand to walk forward.
