The hotel manager broke out in a cold sweat at the scene before him.

"No photos allowed, do you hear ? None of you are allowed to take pictures!" he shouted, rushing forward with frantic urgency. Driven by a strong survival instinct, he snatched the cara out of one reporter’s hand.

The reporter refused to back down, struggling for control. The two quickly got into a tussle.

The nearby security guards ca to their senses and hurried over to help, throwing the scene into chaos once again.

Qiu Qianyun felt waves of burning heat surging through her body, making her extrely uncomfortable.

Her already fragile willpower collapsed entirely, and she instinctively clung to Mo Qian. However, the man pushed her away without a shred of rcy, leaving her to lean awkwardly against the doorfra.

"Stop it! All of you, stop!" Mo Qian’s cold and commanding shout froze everyone in their tracks, as they stared at him in shock.

"Who sent you? Speak!" Mo Qian stepped forward, his icy gaze sweeping over the reporters as he demanded in a low, nacing voice.

The man’s powerful aura silenced the hallway montarily; no one dared to be the first to speak.

Still, these reporters had been paid to do a job. Even when faced with Rongcheng’s most influential figure, they weren’t about to easily betray their source.

"I received an anonymous tip—that’s the only reason I ca. No one ordered to," one reporter answered boldly.

Mo Qian let out a low, mocking laugh. "So many of you got the sa anonymous tip at the exact sa ti? Don’t you think that’s a bit too coincidental? And that agreent you were waving around earlier—who gave it to you? Are you refusing to na the person behind this because you overestimate your own importance? Or did you underestimate my abilities?"

His words, overflowing with nace, sent chills down the spines of every reporter present.

They exchanged uneasy glances, their guilt evident in their silence.

"If you won’t talk, then you can explain everything at the police station," Mo Qian declared and imdiately cast a sharp look at the hotel manager nearby.

"Causing trouble in a Gu Family hotel? Arrest them all and hand them over to the authorities!" The manager promptly shouted with newfound confidence.

The security guards rushed forward, restraining several individuals.

One reporter, clutching the separation agreent, broke free of the guards and rushed out. Holding up the docunt, he loudly demanded, "Mr. Gu, care to explain this separation agreent? Why did Mrs. Gu request separation? Your marriage has already broken down, yet you’ve kept it hidden from the public. Isn’t that true?"

The reporter’s sharp, confrontational question emboldened the others, who shook off the guards and surrounded Mo Qian, demanding answers.

Mo Qian’s cold, oppressive gaze locked on the reporter who had spoken, and a faint smile appeared on his lips. It was a smile that sent a shiver down everyone’s spine.

The reporters felt their hearts drop.

This man was the most powerful figure in Rongcheng—offending him could cost them more than just their jobs. They might not even be able to survive in this city anymore!

For just a few thousand bucks, it wasn’t worth losing everything!

Except for the one who had asked, most of the others retreated instinctively, eager to distance themselves from the storm’s eye.

Suddenly, Qiu Qianyun pushed through the crowd, shouting at everyone, "Why are you picking on Brother Mo Qian? Whether his marriage is happy or not is none of your business! It’s his private matter!"

When she finished yelling, she turned to Mo Qian with adoration in her eyes. "Brother Mo Qian, let’s ignore these lunatics! Let’s go back to the room, okay?"

Mo Qian frowned coldly and rejected her outright. "This has nothing to do with you. Leave imdiately!"
