Zhao Wanqing shook her head inwardly.
Clearly in love with Ji Wei to the point of despair, yet stubbornly entangling with each other.
Sigh, Gu Moqian, just what are you thinking?
Gu Moqian’s hand clenched and released repeatedly. After suppressing his anger, he eventually didn’t walk over.
"Mr. Gu, given the current situation, don’t you think there’s no need for us to continue this act?" Zhao Wanqing looked at him and blinked, "Ji Wei is beautiful and young. Surely many n will chase after her once she’s divorced, which could probably ease your worries."
Zhao Wanqing was definitely a teammate who stabs you in the heart with her comnts.
Gu Moqian’s face turned dark as a pot’s bottom. He coldly glanced at the overly smart woman in front of him, then left her and walked away.
Watching his cold and hard back, Zhao Wanqing shrugged indifferently.
Before following him, she glanced towards Ji Wei.
At this mont, Ji Wei was being led by Jin Qichuan to a seat nearby to rest. The man in a white suit, as gentle and handso as a prince, was offering Ji Wei a glass of orange juice.
The two of them seed to be getting along well, soone’s jealousy is bound to spill over soon.
Zhao Wanqing smirked lightly and quickly pursued Gu Moqian.
"Mr. Jin, you must have other engagents; you don’t have to stay here with , I’m really fine." Ji Wei held the glass of orange juice, her face slightly pale as she spoke.
"They are just trivial engagents."
Jin Qichuan spoke lightly, his deep eyes silently watching Ji Wei for a mont before suddenly sitting down across from her.
Ji Wei looked at him sowhat bewildered.
Jin Qichuan’s fair and slender fingers intertwined, resting on the table in front of him, with his elbows slightly bent, the sleeve pulled back a bit, revealing a delicate silver wristwatch.
"Ji Wei, I hope to help you." Jin Qichuan carefully worded his sentence, looking directly at her as he spoke slowly.
"Help ... with what?" Ji Wei looked at him in shock, although inwardly she had guessed the reason, she was unwilling to admit it.
"I know it might be a bit presumptuous to say this. However, if Gu Moqian wants to bully you, I would absolutely not agree." His words were firm, and Ji Wei, looking at his sincere gaze, felt at a loss.
In speaking to her in such a manner and tone, Ji Wei, though not foolish, naturally understood that he might have feelings for her.
But he is Gu Moqian’s cousin; how could he possibly like her!
Feeling a bit flustered, Ji Wei stood up, almost spilling the orange juice on the table.
"Sorry, I want to go to the washroom."
Ji Wei almost fled in a panic.
She quickly entered the restroom, closed the door, and her heart was still racing.
Jin Qichuan actually liked her; it’s too crazy!
After all, he called her sister-in-law!
Ji Wei still rembered the first ti she saw Jin Qichuan at the Gu Mansion. She accidentally fell from the persimmon tree and was caught by him just in ti.
The first impression Jin Qichuan left on Ji Wei was that of a gentle young gentleman, and he helped her out at the gym later on as well. Ji Wei had always felt grateful to him.
But it was rely gratitude.
It was only after calming herself did Ji Wei push open the restroom door and walk out.
But as soon as she looked up, she saw Jin Qichuan waiting a few ters away by the door.
He was frowning, holding a lit cigarette between his fingers, looking quite troubled. As soon as he saw Ji Wei, Jin Qichuan imdiately extinguished the cigarette and walked over.
"I’m sorry, just pretend I never said those things earlier. I’m really sorry for causing you distress." Jin Qichuan said with a face full of apology.
Ji Wei knew her reaction was sowhat excessive, so she tried to lift her lips in a smile towards him: "Let’s go back to the banquet hall."
They had barely walked a few steps side by side when they ran into Gu Moqian coming straight towards them.
