Gu Moqian’s cruel words crashed down from above, making Ji Wei feel as if she were plunged into an icy abyss. She wanted to escape, but there was no way out.

As his words fell, the man lowered his head again. Ji Wei desperately tried to dodge, but he harshly captured her lips, sucking strongly, causing her brows to knit in pain.

This ti, Gu Moqian kissed her with unrestrained ferocity, domineeringly invading, leaving her tongue numb and aching from his suction.

Ji Wei’s brain was nearly deprived of oxygen. She felt humiliated and hopeless, yet she was forced to open her mouth to breathe, allowing the man to take even more shalessly from the lingering fragrance within her.

It was rely an aggressive, domineering deep kiss, but it continuously tugged at the sensitive nerves within her, causing her body to react instinctively to the man’s actions.

Ji Wei hated herself for this—for being unable to resist. She loathed him so fiercely, yet she was still sinking under the onslaught of his kiss.

The man rcilessly ravaged her tender lips without an ounce of softness, his cruel actions chilling her to the core. Tears rolled down her pale cheeks, eventually falling into his mouth, salty and bitter.

Gu Moqian’s kissing actions stalled abruptly. He lifted his gaze and saw her reddened eyes and tear-streaked cheeks. The hand that held her slender wrist suddenly loosened.

Ji Wei rubbed her reddened wrist, which had been pinched by him, looking at him through tear-blurred eyes. Her gaze was dim, devoid of light.

The atmosphere around them grew silent and heavy as they stared at each other wordlessly.

The woman’s lips were swollen from his tornt, reddened significantly, stirring an unexpected pang of remorse in him. Gu Moqian wanted to reach out and gently brush her crimson lips with his fingers, but his long fingers twitched briefly before hanging still at his side.

Ji Wei suppressed the tears in her eyes, her expression gradually evening out until it beca completely calm, devoid of any trace of emotion. She opened her lips and said three words, "Let’s divorce."

Gu Moqian’s entire body trembled, shocked that she had been the one to initiate the divorce.

Ji Wei’s deanor was too calm, too indifferent. She wasn’t hysterical, she didn’t sob or wail—she simply uttered those three words with incredible composure.

Gu Moqian felt as though sothing sharp had stabbed into his eyes, the discomfort spreading painfully.

"Gu Moqian, I agree to divorce you," Ji Wei repeated as she stared at him. "From now on, our paths will diverge. We’ll owe nothing to each other."

Her words carried a tremor, her small face drained of all color, betraying the depth of pain in her heart.

Ji Wei’s statent was like a spell, rooting Gu Moqian to the spot, immobile.

His face was emotionless, and the deep black in his eyes seed endless.

Seeing that he remained silent, Ji Wei had no intention of lingering further. She turned to leave the bathroom, but her wrist was once again grasped by Gu Moqian, his hand icy cold without a shred of warmth.

Ji Wei slowly raised her head to look at him, her expression indifferent and cold, "Is there sothing else?"

"About the child custody..."

Gu Moqian struggled to speak, barely managing to utter a few words before Ji Wei interrupted sharply, "An An will stay with . You haven’t fulfilled your responsibilities as a father for even a single day—don’t think you can take him from !"

When it ca to her child, Ji Wei was no longer weak or easily bullied; her gaze turned razor-sharp.

She was like a hedgehog bristling with quills, fully prepared to attack. An An was her final boundary—no one could cross it.

Gu Moqian didn’t actually intend to take the child away. What he wanted to say was that the child being with her was better and that he would provide ample financial support for both mother and son.

Ji Wei’s intense reaction made Gu Moqian swallow the remainder of his words.

"Rest assured, I have no intention of fighting for custody. He will be happiest by your side," Gu Moqian said, his tone carrying a hint of gentleness, his gaze fixed on her sincerely.

Ji Wei held back the excruciating ache in her chest, removed his hand, and stord out, slamming the door behind her.
