"Hey, Ji Xiaowei, I’m here to visit your ho!"
Xi Nanfeng suddenly appeared out of nowhere, threw his arm across Qin Sixue’s neck, tilted his mouth into a forty-five-degree grin, and waved at Ji Wei.
"Brother Nanfeng, let go first..." Qin Sixue’s face turned red from being strangled, and she quickly pushed him away, "I’ll go tie Little Black in the garden. Look, it’s scaring everyone."
In the morning, Qin Sixue had been walking Little Black when Xi Nanfeng showed up in his flashy Lamborghini. Without a word, he hauled her into the car, dog included.
If she had known they were visiting Ji Wei, Qin Sixue wouldn’t have brought Little Black along.
Xi Nanfeng swaggered into the living room, took a quick glance to confirm Gu Moqian wasn’t around, and then flopped himself directly onto the sofa.
" and this troublemaker plan to stay here for a couple of days," Xi Nanfeng said, looking at Ji Wei. "Your husband personally requested this."
He even deliberately stressed the word "personally."
Ji Wei’s face twitched.
Her poor husband.
"Second Young Master, would you like sothing to drink?" Ji Wei maintained the polite deanor of a hostess as she asked.
"A latte, no sugar," Xi Nanfeng said lazily, lifting his eyelids.
Aunt Zhu imdiately responded and left to prepare the drink.
"Woof."
Only then did Happy dare to crawl out from under the sofa, coincidentally next to Xi Nanfeng’s feet.
"Wow, this husky is so cute, just like the s online!" Qin Sixue stepped inside and got unusually excited when she saw Happy. She walked up, picked up the husky, and locked eyes with it.
"Woof woof!"
Happy barked even louder after being praised by a pretty girl.
"What’s cute about it? It’s just a dumb dog," Xi Nanfeng scoffed disdainfully. "Our Little Black is still the most mighty and majestic."
Qin Sixue rolled her eyes at him and put Happy down, then went straight to sit next to Ji Wei. "Sister Wei, you look good, so I can relax now. Is the little one being good? Has it been bothering you?"
"He’s still too small to cause any trouble," Ji Wei said with a gentle smile.
"Can I touch it?" Qin Sixue asked eagerly.
She had always loved children.
"Of course you can."
Qin Sixue placed her hand lightly on Ji Wei’s abdon, felt for a mont, and exclaid sincerely, "I can’t wait for your baby to be born. It’s going to be ridiculously handso..."
Xi Nanfeng, seeing the two won chatting away and completely ignoring him, got annoyed.
He opened the coffee table drawer, fished out a deck of cards, and said, "Let’s play cards!"
Qin Sixue was unimpressed: "How can you gamble? It’s bad for the baby’s prenatal education."
"I’m not really into playing cards," Ji Wei chid in to agree.
Xi Nanfeng: "..."
Ever since things ramped up with his troublemaker, Xi Nanfeng had noticed she treated him with less and less reverence.
He used to be her high-and-mighty Brother Nanfeng, yet now? Qin Sixue often looked at him like he was an idiot, and sotis outrightly showed her disdain.
They say the favored ones are fearless—so damn accurate!
"Fine, don’t play. I’m taking Little Black for a walk." Xi Nanfeng irritably scratched his head and stomped out of the living room.
After walking two laps in the garden with the big wolfdog, he assud Qin Sixue would be missing him. But when he looked up, he found the two won sitting on the second-floor balcony, drinking red tea and basking in the sun, completely content.
Xi Nanfeng took a major hit—were they seriously just ignoring him like that?
Just as he was about to charge up there and stir things up, he suddenly caught sight of a sharply dressed woman in a professional outfit striding into the villa.
