Ji Wei nodded, "Alright, no problem. You can invite Miss Qin to co along."

Xi Nanfeng imdiately protested, "No! She’s been clinging to like crazy these days, let catch a break."

Ever since his relationship with Qin Sixue had advanced rapidly, the two seed practically joined at the hip. At first, Xi Nanfeng found it refreshing, but over ti, he started to feel a bit annoyed.

No free ti at all, okay? Wherever he went, the troublemaker was right behind him. He suddenly found himself missing the days of being single.

Ji Wei paused in surprise, seeming to understand the situation a bit better.

After a mont, Xi Nanfeng added, "Ahem... I’ll ask Old Ye to co along instead."

Getting treated to a al was one thing, but if Gu Moqian found out he was dining alone with Ji Wei, he’d be lucky to just get skinned alive.

The plane landed steadily on the Xi Family’s helipad.

After disembarking, Xi Nanfeng drove Ji Wei to find a place for a feast. They chose a very stylish seafood restaurant.

Not long after sitting in their private room, Ye Cheng arrived.

Seeing Ji Wei, Ye Cheng froze briefly, "Where’s Old Mo? Didn’t he say he was treating us to dinner?"

Xi Nanfeng handed the nu he had just finalized to the waiter, lazily draping an arm over the back of his chair, "If I didn’t say that, would you have co? Besides, if Ji Xiaowei’s treating, it’s practically the sa as Old Mo treating. Don’t mind the little details, Agent Ye."

As he finished speaking, noticing Ye Cheng still standing there, Xi Nanfeng simply got up and guided him to take his seat.

Ye Cheng seated himself next to Xi Nanfeng, and Ji Wei greeted him politely, "Hello, Mr. Ye."

Ye Cheng slightly nodded, his gaze lingering for a mont.

The internet was full of gossip about Ji Wei, yet her deanor didn’t seem affected at all, surprising Ye Cheng.

Soon, dish after dish of their extravagant al was brought out, filling the round table in no ti.

Looking at the delicious food in front of him, Xi Nanfeng rubbed his hands in excitent, grabbed a Boston lobster, and started devouring with gusto.

Ye Cheng glanced at him, "You ordered all seafood. Did you consider how a pregnant woman might feel?"

Xi Nanfeng blinked and turned to Ji Wei, "Oh no, I forgot Ji Xiaowei’s got a little one in her belly."

"It’s fine, I don’t eat much anyway. A bit of fish soup is good enough for ." Ji Wei didn’t seem to mind.

After all, she was the one treating. It wouldn’t be appropriate to just cater to her own preferences.

Ye Cheng picked up a bowl, ticulously rinsed it with tea water, and served her a bowl of fish soup.

"Thank you." Ji Wei accepted it with a smile.

Ye Cheng always gave her an icy impression, but unexpectedly, his actions had a warm touch.

Ji Wei took a sip of the fish soup — mild, balanced, and quite flavorful.

"By the way, Mr. Ye, how’s Duoduo doing in the crew? Is the drama filming going smoothly?" She had been busy with company affairs recently and hadn’t found ti to check up on Xia Duoduo.

"Fine." Ye Cheng responded succinctly.

Ji Wei’s lips twitched.

Alright, she abandoned any idea of chatting further with Mr. Ye.

Better to focus on her fish soup.

In no ti, Xi Nanfeng demolished the lobster and grabbed a bread crab, though he didn’t seem particularly satisfied, "Old Ye, when are we going to head out to sea for a couple of days? The seafood we catch ourselves will be way fresher than this."

"No ti." Ye Cheng gracefully picked up a piece of shrimp at and shot him a sidelong glance, "I’ll be in Venice for a week."

"Oh, attending the film festival? Which of your artists got shortlisted for the awards? Give a hint—Zhao Shu or Huo Qihang?"

Xi Nanfeng asked with great interest, only to be t with Ye Cheng’s chilly two-word reply: "You guess."
