Ji Wei suddenly spoke, firing off a string of questions that left the two across from her utterly speechless.
Ye Cheng signing Xia Duoduo as an artist hadn’t been publicly announced, and this was the first ti Xiao Zhen had heard about it.

The female influencer’s face turned pale for a mont, but she forced herself to act composed. "You’re definitely trying to trick us! How could Agent Ye possibly sign an obscure, totally unknown minor artist? Even Brother Zhen here got rejected..."

Ji Wei frowned—she realized she had made a mistake.

"Great. I want to book the entire venue right now and have these two people expelled!" Ji Wei pointed at Xiao Zhen and the female influencer, her deanor carrying an undeniable air of authority.
"Well..." Manager Chen’s face revealed his discomfort. "To book the venue, only Gold mbers are eligible. May I know if you’re one of our mbers?"
Gold mbership was the highest level of Wells’ mbership system, and there were only a handful of Gold mbers in all of Rongcheng.
The woman standing before him looked like she ca from a wealthy background, but likely not wealthy enough for Gold mbership.
Across from them, Xiao Zhen, noticing the situation, pulled his own mbership card from the pocket of his suit jacket with an air of indignation. "Manager Chen, I am a Platinum mber. Please escort these unrelated people out—they’re disrupting my and my companion’s workout."
Platinum mbership was also a notably high tier, with only slightly over a hundred holders in Rongcheng.
Manager Chen respectfully took Xiao Zhen’s mbership card in hand. "We can arrange a private, exclusive gym room for you, and guarantee that no one will disturb you."
Manager Chen’s response tactfully rejected Xiao Zhen’s demand.
Platinum mbership alone was insufficient to book the entire venue.
