Ye Cheng’s handso face was expressionless as he glanced at her.

"I..." Zii was montarily at a loss for words, but steadied herself and said, "You ntioned working overti at the office, so I ca to find you."

"Is there sothing you need?" Ye Cheng asked in a cold tone.

It was almost eleven at night.

"No, I just wanted to see you," Zii said frankly.

Ye Cheng quietly looked at her for several seconds, then pushed open the glass door and walked into the office area.

Zii stared blankly as he went inside, turned on the lights, and headed to his office. She stood there hesitating whether to go in, but finally, she gritted her teeth and stepped inside.

After all, he hadn’t told her to leave.

Ye Cheng turned on the computer, and before sitting down heard the sound of high heels nearing. He looked up at her and asked, "Why did you co in?"

"You do your work, I’ll just sit here, I won’t disturb you," Zii said with a smile, walking straight to the black leather sofa and sitting down.

"This isn’t a living room, if you want to sit, go ho," Ye Cheng said coldly.

"Then give your keys, I’ll go to your place," Zii half-jokingly extended a hand to him.

Ye Cheng looked at her smiling face and instantly grew colder: "Nonsense."

Throwing out four words, he ignored her and sat down to start working.

Zii watched the man’s focused side profile for a long ti, unable to get enough.

Knowing the woman was studying him, Ye Cheng sat there with a stiff back, feeling uneasy. But he didn’t want to argue further because no matter what he said, Zii always had a retort, just like earlier.

Zii curled her legs on the sofa, remaining silent.

The office was quiet, especially tranquil.

About half an hour later, Zii suddenly stood up and walked out.

"Where are you going?" Ye Cheng asked, seeing Zii’s bag still on the sofa, unable to help himself.

Zii turned back with a radiant smile: "A Cheng, do you care about ?"

Ye Cheng: "..."

With no response from Ye Cheng, Zii left the office in good spirits.

After she left, only he was left in the office, the dark hue unfeelingly cold in the early hours, giving a sense of solitude.

Ye Cheng stared at the door for a while before looking away.

But not long after, Zii returned.

Upon hearing movent, Ye Cheng resisted looking.

She carried two cups of coffee, gracefully approached the desk, leaned over, and handed him one: "Have so coffee to wake up, it won’t be so tiring."

The woman’s red lips moved, her enchanting voice especially captivating in the quiet room.

Ye Cheng’s phoenix eyes lifted slightly, glancing at the steaming coffee in her hand, but he didn’t reach out to take it.

Zii placed the coffee beside his hand, then picked up the other cup to sip: "Ever thought about hiring a female assistant? Such things a female assistant would handle with more ease."

Ye Cheng silently tapped the keyboard, not speaking.

"Because of , do you hold any bias against won?" Zii continued.

"You really think highly of yourself," Ye Cheng finally looked up at her, speaking indifferently.

"Yes, being your only ex-girlfriend grants that privilege," Zii responded, unaffected by his cold sarcasm.

Thinking about how Ye Cheng’s only love was her, Zii’s mood suddenly improved.

Ye Cheng coming to the office so late, unwilling to go ho and sleep, he must be purposely avoiding the female artist at ho, right?
