Until Ye Cheng’s car was about to disappear around the corner, Zii finally snapped out of it and started her car to follow.

When they reached near the apartnt, Ye Cheng got out of the car and walked into the nearby supermarket.

Zii hesitated for a mont, then unbuckled her seatbelt and followed him in.

Today, Ye Cheng was wearing a black and white checkered shirt, making his handso face look even fairer, and his neat suit trousers showed off his impossibly long legs. Even from behind, he looked tall and striking.

His sleeves were rolled up a bit, revealing clean, fair wrists. His long, strong arms were holding a shopping basket, one hand in his pocket, lingering in front of the shelves.

Such a good-looking man in a supermarket, a few young won passing by couldn’t help but frequently glance sideways.

"So handso, how can there be such a good-looking man?"

"Quick, take a picture and post it on Monts, I actually encountered a supermarket god!"

"Lower your voice, he’s looking this way! Oh my god, he’s even more handso from the front, I’m gonna faint..."

Seeing the man she liked being ogled by these love-struck girls, Zii felt a bit displeased inside.

At this mont, she ignored Ye Cheng’s previous warnings and walked over quickly, grabbing his arm and coquettishly calling out, "Hubby~ I’ve kept you waiting."

The few won were instantly dumbfounded.

So the good-looking man is already married!

What a pity.

Seeing the sudden appearance of Zii, Ye Cheng’s handso brows furrowed, and he coldly removed her hand from his arm.

"You—"

Ye Cheng just started to speak when Zii raised the shopping basket in her hand to interrupt him: "I’m just here to shop at the supermarket, purely coincidental, just stopping by to say hi, don’t get the wrong idea."

The woman spoke so earnestly, it almost seed true.

But calling him hubby casually, sothing felt off...

Ye Cheng: "..."

With a stern face, he turned around and left.

Zii followed closely behind him.

Ye Cheng went to the vegetable section to buy ingredients, and Zii also picked up a few fresh tomatoes and put them in her basket.

He went to pick live fish, and she went to get a few shrimps.

The supermarket was quite large, but no matter where Ye Cheng went, Zii could skillfully appear within his sight. Also, she was genuinely shopping.

Ye Cheng kept a tense face, yet he couldn’t say much.

After checking out, Ye Cheng carried his things and walked out, with Zii following closely behind.

He had just sat in his car when he saw her walking towards him.

"My car broke down, can I ride with you?"

Zii smiled at him charmingly.

"No." Ye Cheng coldly pulled the seatbelt over and buckled it.

"My assistant couldn’t make it, I have no way to get back, is it really not possible?" Zii pleaded.

"What storm hasn’t Boss Zi faced? Calling a car shouldn’t be too hard for you?" Ye Cheng teased without expression, started the car, and drove off.

Zii stood there, staring blankly as the car drove away, an indescribable depression in her heart.

He could clearly send a female artist ho but was stingy about giving her a ride.

Isn’t this double standard too obvious?

A cold breeze blew from sowhere, hitting her repeatedly. Zii was only wearing a dress, leaving her cold from head to toe.

But what was colder than her body was her heart.

After returning ho, Zii didn’t even have the appetite to eat.

She just picked up a bottle of vintage red wine from the wine cabinet, about to open it, when Lu Shanhu walked in.

"Drinking again?"

Lu Shanhu’s expression was severe as he reprimanded, "Drinking is very damaging to a woman’s body; do you not want children in the future?"

Hearing the word ’children,’ Zii’s charming eyes flickered slightly, she avoided Lu Shanhu’s outstretched hand, and guarded the wine bottle, speaking in a mocking tone, "I guess I won’t have that chance."

She just wanted to have a child with Ye Cheng.
