As Jas walked through the portal, he saw Nesis. The sight of Nesis smiling seed to put him in a strange fra of mind.
"Welco, Jas."
Suddenly, because Nesis had spoken to him, he pulled himself together and approached Nesis with a smile.
It was only when he gave Nesis a huge hug that he realised what was going on around him.
"Well...Welco son."
Jas gently stepped away from Nesis when he heard this and left her in her confused and embarrassed state.
When he turned his head, he saw a throne and two people sitting on it.
Jas' smile seed to have gone through the roof as he ran quickly and then stopped in front of one of the two people on the throne.
This person was Nyx.
When Jas stopped in front of Nyx, he gently took her by the hand and lifted her from her seat, gave her a big hug, and then pulled out a rose from his inventory.
Nyx looked surprised, thinking she was going to get sothing other than a rose.
Everyone's mouths were agape, no one had thought that Jas would hug both a high woman like Nesis and a fierce goddess like Nyx the mont he stepped out of the portal.
Jas had a lot of nerve.
Nyx had a little "why?" look on her face after taking the rose, and when Jas realised this, he spoke:
"This rose reminds of the first ti I saw you, my lady, or rather the first ti you pierced the sky and watched on the first floor. A huge darkness descending to a white field, a pair of eyes with pupils shining with perfect beauty. The beauty and colour of the flower reminded of you, so I wanted to give you this as a gift."
As Jas finished saying these words, Nyx smiled and hugged him even tighter than the one Jas had just given her.
As soon as Jas was released, he turned his head to Erebus and said, "Pleased to et you, sir, you're a bigger man than I thought."
Erebus was shocked at the audacity of the young man in front of him and a small laugh echoed through the room.
After that, Jas had climbed down from where he had been standing and was back at Nesis' side.
Nesis's ears were red, she looked embarrassed, and she was still frozen in place, she was actually acting like a teenager.
Jas turned to Moros and then asked, "Master Moros, is Nesis all right?"
When Moros shook his head from side to side, Jas gently took Nesis by the shoulders and shook him several tis.
When Nesis sohow ca to, he pulled the Necklace of Life from his inventory.
In front of everyone, Jas gently handed the necklace to Nesis and then said, "I don't know how much use it will be to you, my lady, as you are already a goddess, but the Philosopher's Stone may help you, and I present you with this gift in the hope that you will never leave ."
Nesis seed to stay where he was once more, Jas was beginning to wonder if they were in a cody film, but he chose to ignore it all the sa.
He gently pushed Nesis' hair aside and put the necklace on her, before looking around and asking, "So? What do we do now?"
As Jas asked this question, Nyx descended the steps one by one and then ca over to Jas and patted him on the cheek.
Jas didn't realise what was going on until Nyx suddenly spoke:
"First of all, let apologise. My job was not only to give you your class but to look after you and make sure you were safe. I failed, and I hope you will forgive for that."
When Jas heard these words, he seed to have a strange expression on his face.
"Well...I an, I'm not dead so don't be ridiculous. I'm my own man, if I die it will be because I let my guard down."
When Jas said those words out loud, the others around him chuckled and especially Nyx let out a deep breath. Jas didn't understand what was going on.
"Normally I'd be the one to surprise you, my lady, but this ti I'm the one surprised, can anyone explain what's going on?" asked Jas suddenly, wondering what was going on.
With that Nyx took Jas by the hand and began to walk gently, Jas of course did not resist and walked with Nyx.
Jas' eyes widened as Nyx brought him in front of one of the huge windows in the lounge.
"I'm the reason they attacked you, Jas. I protect this landscape, this beauty and so much more with my presence alone, I haven't fought in a physical battle in a very long ti, more like my presence prevents battles. This ans that when I send you a card to choose a card and you choose , those who dare not fight against are drawn to you, soone who will be harder for to protect."
Jas shook his head when Nyx said those words.
"Well...My Lady, I understand, but these were not things I did not know, you know...Even in the world I ca from, the only person known to be stronger than you was Chaos himself. That's why when I had the chance to talk to Leyla, I asked about Chaos and a few other things. I had to find out if the gods here were the sa as the ones I knew.
I an, I already knew what was going on at the mont I chose you, and for you to bla yourself is, to put it mildly, silly, even with all the respect I have for you."
Even Erebus cringed when Jas uttered those words, how ridiculous it was for a mortal to insult Nyx.
Nyx, contrary to everyone's expectations, looked relieved, even teary-eyed.
"Silly huh? Hahahaha...You don't even know how happy I am that I sent you the chance to choose ...So what do you say, wanna go for a walk outside?"
Jas' eyes lit up with excitent and happiness when Nyx said these words, and after shaking his head in disbelief, he said, "If I answer no to this at any point in my life, please throw off the mountain."
Mount Olympos trip was starting.
