The White Witches could take on the warriors of Olympus, the Valkyries of Asgard, and even the followers of the Chaos-Born, which was what had nearly killed Hyperion.
In Desmond's hands, they were one of the three most powerful armies that had ever existed, which is why the betrayal had been so severe.
