Monsters, monsters everywhere!
They were embodints of SAVAGERY!
Long fur, scales, sharp teeth, four legs, and a barbed tail… they looked like 5 m apocalypse versions of jackals! Their entire beings emitted POWER!
"F-fuck! What the heck's wrong with this place?!"
Jack barely had ti to curse that they were upon him. A gigantic maw magnified before him, the stench of its breath about to make him faint.
Every cell of his human DNA was screaming at him… RESIST!
"Kid, Dodge!"
"Not yet, not yet…. Now!"
Jack waited till the very last mont. The maw engulfed him, monster saliva drenched him, and fangs dug deep inside his skin! That's when he finally fought back!
He generated Spectral Blades!
— WHOOSH! WHOOSH! —
"You bastard, this is what you get for eating people!"
He sent Arcane Magic at full-power! It sliced through the fangs like butter, barely saving his life. Yet, now he was stewing in a confused monster's mouth.
[Acidic Saliva! Losing HP!]
[You Should Exit ASAP!]
"Tch— As if! Old Ghost, how's the situation outside?!" Jack could already feel his skin peeling off, but the alternative was far worse.
"Y-you're smack right in the middle of the monster pack! One wrong move and they'll all gang up on you. You— Oh, NO!"
The Monster seed to have realized that sothing was wrong with the thing it had gobbled. Its mouth started pulsating… it was about to throw them up!
He needed a plan to survive the others… and NOW!
"ARGG! We need a way to distract them! If only it was possible to get so cover to— WAIT?!" Jack suddenly had an incredibly dumb yet crazy idea!
Seeing the Spectral Dagger flying next to his hand, the Old Ghost had a bad feeling about this. "Don't tell you'll try to blind them with Arcane Magic?! That's way too wasteful!"
There was no way this could possibly work! At this mont, the Old Ghost dreaded the solo trial rules… would he have to watch his new pupil perish?!
Yet… Jack was now showing a confident grin!
"Hehe, Evil God Body Ti, bitches!" Jack chuckled as he activated his magic. Instantly, his tiny body enlarged as if a balloon!
Usually, this wouldn't have done much… but given where he was… The poor Monster suddenly felt an incredible force in its mouth before — SPLATTER! —
Blood splashed all over!
W-what?! A Magical Beast had suddenly… exploded?!
Its brethren stared, shell-shocked, but this was only the beginning. Before they could regain their bearings, Jack struck again! — WHOOSH! WHOOSH! —
His Spectral Daggers flew all over!
Then a miracle happened; the surroundings utterly disappeared in a rain of slly bloody fur! The entire world totally turned a disgusting brown!
[Fox-Shaving God… Activating?!]
Even with the na, the effect was simply "Boosted Shaving Efficiency"! The Ghost by the side couldn't believe his eyes. Was Jack using a non-combat title… defensively?!
By now, he had already deactivated his Evil God Body, returning to his tiny form. He was akin to a baby in a haystack! With the confusion… the monsters were utterly fooled!
That's when a massacre began.
From ti to ti, a creature would actually find Jack… and even swallow him. Except, he welcod it wholeheartedly! Then a few instants later… — SPLATTER! —
W-what the fuck?! Wasn't he a little too proficient already?! Why did it feel like it wasn't his first ti doing sothing like this?! "Kid… where the hell did you learn this?!"
"Hehe, I used to chuck grenades inside mutants back in the day. It's pretty much the sa ga; it's all about timing and—" A few words and Jack had already lost his ntor.
Thus the Beast-Slaying continued…

Then finally, the last Monster exploded.
Jack found himself standing amidst a sea of exploded corpses, his entire being drenched in blood and entrails. At this mont, he looked more monstrous than his defeated enemies!
[C-Congratulations! Defeated Monster Pack!]

As soon as he saw the notification, Jack started whistling a happy tune.
"♪ XP, XP, XP! All of you, die! Be fuel for my growth! Your corpses, my stepping-stones! Crimson, the world I'll dye! I'll even devour the bones! You dumb things, I loathe! La-la-la! ♪"
He was already singing as he spent his XP… all in MAGIC again! After all, he had pretty much wasted all his Mana in the previous fight, and he was far from done.
He scowled at the peak of Fortuna Mountain.
"Freaking Fate God… so what if I have zero affinity?! I'll teach you not to ss with Jack MF Bright! It's ti for RETRIBUTION!"
For once… he was PISSED!
By the side, the Ghost felt his non-existent blood boil. This kid already had a Slaughter Song?! How old was he again?! He couldn't wait to see him shine!
He even started to look forward to Jack "confronting" the Fate God! Who knows what would happen, but it would be GLORIOUS!
Thus they kept ascending the Mountain…
On the way, they encountered more aberrations. The creatures weren't all the sa either, many adopting various disfigured forms: cougars, bears, and even wolves!
Yet, it all ended up the sa… — SHRIEK! SHRIEK! — Their dying shrieks would inevitably resound soon after encountering Jack!
He had almost succumbed to the initial sneak attack, but now that he knew what he was doing, slaughtering them beca increasingly easier, the monsters as smart as bricks!
"Sothing's wrong. Why aren't there more powerful Monsters? They're all F-Rank at best…." Even Jack could tell that much. Were they getting ready for a mass assault?!
"Pfft— That's not it, kid! This is a Trial!"
Jack could only stare at the Ghost, puzzled. That was precisely his point. Shouldn't a Trial be more brutal? There had to be sothing extrely deadly lurking in the shadows, right?
"Hehe, you still don't get it? It was adjusted to be impossible to complete… for a baby! You're so perversely strong that you broke the Fate God's Trial, hahaha!"
"You an… no matter what I do, there won't be stronger enemies?!"
"Exactly, kid! Trials are Special, after all!"
T-this ant that?! Jack's entire body shook as he started grinning from ear to ear. This was the opportunity of a lifeti! He wouldn't let it pass through his fingers!
Then after a little more killing, he finally reached his objective…
[Welco to the Fate Temple!]
[Bask in the Glory of the Fate God!]
[Do You Want to Serve the Fate God?!]
Serve? Bask in his glory? Pretty haughty of him, wasn't it? Not only had this bastard baited him to his death, but he wanted even more of him?!
"You're talking a lot of shit for a God with a Temple in dismantling range!" Jack thundered as he gloriously raised his middle finger.
Then he got to work…
"One, two, three… fuck your Temple!"
He started smashing the place up! For every brick he removed, a monster would show up…. but so what?! He could be VERY patient!

"Ignore!"
Thus began the craziest demolition work ever. As for negotiating with the Fate God? Too Late! He didn't want to have anything to do with that asshole! It was ti for REVENGE!
It took him hours, but Jack didn't give a flying fuck.
He kept sabotaging and sabotaging so more. He kept doing it until, finally, a change happened. A golden beam suddenly erupted out of the Temple… only to shatter!
[D-Destroyed the Fate Temple?!]
[Passed the Fate Trial? ERROR ERROR! Processing!]
"Hehe, process all you want. It won't change the result! That's what you get for ssing with my hopes! Tsk, tsk, tsk, you greedy, scheming Fate God!"
But just as he was rejoicing, there was a sudden change!
It started with a slight tremble, then a small shake… and finally turned into an Earth-shattering Earthquake! — QUAKE! QUAKE! — Rocks were falling everywhere already!
"What the fuck's happening?!"
"Kid, RUNNNNNN!"
With the Temple gone, the Trial couldn't hold on anymore...
That day, Fortuna Mountain Crumbled. The entire thing ca crashing down in a ginormous cloud of dust, the event so loud that it was heard across the whole region!
What kind of crazy reactions would there be to a thousand-year-old landmark suddenly disappearing? How would people react if they knew a baby had done it?!
Yet, the main culprit was not repentant one iota!
"Tch— Fate God, you're one hell of a sore loser! All I did was destroy one asly Temple! Scoff, I'll get you later for this!"
W-what?! He wasn't done yet?! The Old Ghost suddenly found himself feeling pity for a God. He could already picture the Celestial being coughing blood as it reviewed the scene.
This new pupil of his really was CRAZY!
"Kid, I think you've done plenty already! Besides, we have sothing else to deal with right now..." The Old Ghost pointed to two gawking figures right next to the collapse zone.
"Y-you, you're alive?!"
"GASP!"
Why the hell were the two Adventurers still here?! Were they THAT bored?! They had even erected a small tombstone for him too...
