Inside the Cave Heaven, amidst a burst of resplendent golden light, a Gathering Immortal Talisman rose into the air, as boundless spiritual energy began to converge toward the high platform.

It resembled countless dragons of spiritual energy surging toward the center, triggering imnse and extraordinary phenona.

From the spring at the Spirit Eye, an abundance of spiritual power also erupted, ultimately absorbed by the figure at the very center.

This released innurable spiritual rays.

Yet, these rays weren’t colorful, but rather a shade of cyan.

Moreover, they were layered with nurous blades of Grass Sword, sharp and unparalleled.

Within the Flood Dragon Nest, several Fourth Rank flood dragons poked their heads out, visibly frightened by the cyan light as they gazed toward the high platform, their eyes brimming with fear.

Then they squeezed themselves further back into the Flood Dragon Nest.

On the Spirit Lake, the Water Spirit Shell and Star Spirit Clam also erged briefly before quickly subrging beneath the water again.

Above the Spirit Lake, nurous Flying Swords seed to slice through the air.

Several slower-reacting Spirit Fish were shredded into threads by the cyan light.

Even the massive, mysterious black fish had a portion of its scales sliced away, revealing the terrifying nature of that cyan light.

All the Spirit Beasts within the Cave Heaven turned their gaze, yet whether they hid in the Spirit Lake or sought refuge within formations, they all stared toward the high skies above the high platform, where a lone figure stood tall, like a pine tree.

His eyes were shut tightly, his expression remaining serene.

Upon closer examination, one could see that at this mont, Lin Shiming’s entire being resembled a deep and boundless starry sky.

His Golden Core had expanded once more, with the sword patterns upon it now even more strikingly distinct.

The Sword Origin of the Kuimu Sword Canon flooded his body like a mighty river, endless and perpetual, and the cyan light emanating outward was but the dispersed remnants of his Sword Origin.

After yet more ti had passed, in the next mont, accompanied by waves of True Yuan surging forth, a more fearso aura transford into rippling spiritual energy that swept outward in all directions.

Lin Shiming’s Divine Sense began to expand once again, surpassing the limits of a Golden Core Cultivator by far, though within the confines of the Cave Heaven, he could not fully unfurl its might.

Beyond his Divine Sense, the strength of his physical body had also grown significantly, and at this mont within his body, more than half had converted into Sword Origin.

This ant that even with a casual strike, his attack carried the essence of unparalleled Sword Intent—this was precisely the brilliance of the Kuimu Sword Canon.

After experiencing breakthroughs in his state of mind, removal of Evil Qi, and the advancent of his Divine Sense, Lin Shiming’s progress this ti was especially smooth.

He felt no obstacles whatsoever.

Of course, this was partially attributed to Lin Shiming himself being a Thousand Wood Spirit Body and benefiting from many fortuitous encounters.

Today, at long last, on his two-hundred-fortieth birthday, he broke through to the Golden Core Late Stage.

The next step was Nascent Soul True Monarch.

At this age and cultivation level, even within the entire Southern Sea, he was a rare presence.

Many prodigious cultivators, though quick in advancing through Foundation Establishnt and Purple Mansion, often stagnated in the Golden Core Realm, sotis for centuries.

Lin Shiming waved his hand, inspecting his physical form, and descended from the high platform.

With each step he took, the cyan light and phenona of dispersed Sword Origin moved in sync with him.

Unexpectedly, the Sword Domain he hadn’t fully refined atop Jinyu Mountain had, through this breakthrough, evolved into a minor success.

As such, his current Sword Domain’s strength should, in so sense, far exceed that of Tianliu True Person’s pri.

Furthermore, nourished by the Sword Pill, his Taiyi Grass Sword had now reached the Fifth Rank Mid Stage.

This gave Lin Shiming the confidence to fear no adversary within the Golden Core stage. Even against Nascent Soul Cultivators who hadn’t fully dominated their Nascent Soul Domain, he might barely hold his ground.

As for truly defeating such foes and standing up to them in combat, Lin Shiming acknowledged his lack of confidence.

He would only be left with the option to flee.

Of course, should he encounter a Nascent Soul, such as the bearer of the Qiu Xue Sword with an unbroken lineage, he wouldn’t hesitate to escape and entrust himself to fate.

The gap between Golden Core Middle Stage and Golden Core Late Stage was imnse; Lin Shiming did not believe that the disparities within the Nascent Soul Realm would be any less formidable.

"Congratulations, Master, on breaking through to the Golden Core Late Stage! The Great Dao beckons!" Elder Mu and Lei Tong stepped forward.

Subsequently, the Star Spirit Clam and Water Spirit Shell spoke as well.

Even the massive, mysterious black fish let out a deep, gruff voice.

Clearly, after years within the Cave Heaven, it had finally developed Spirit Intelligence sophisticated enough for speech.

At that mont, Elder Mu retained his usual Purple Mansion early-stage appearance, while Lei Tong had already attained the Purple Mansion Late Stage.

The Star Spirit Clam was at the Golden Core Early Stage, while the Water Spirit Shell remained at Purple Mansion Late Stage.

However, Lin Shiming understood well that Lei Tong’s slow advancent was due to its essence being the Golden Thunder Bamboo, a plant renowned for its sluggish growth. It hadn’t utilized the Revival Wind Minor Divine Ability either.

In contrast, the Water Spirit Shell’s slow progress was purely a limitation of its declining potential.

"How long was my retreat?" Lin Shiming inquired.

"Master, you’ve been in seclusion for fifteen years," Elder Mu replied.

Lin Shiming furrowed his brow; he had not anticipated that fifteen years had elapsed.

Preparing to leave the Cave Heaven, Lin Shiming contemplated that in ordinary circumstances, fifteen years would amount to little more than a brief nap.

Yet, in the current era, with the Eastern Domain plagued by the Dark Spirit Clan and Ancient Demon Race, and the Southern Sea teeming with the Taiqian Shark Tribe, these forces posed constant threats, making Lin Shiming wary.

Erging from the Cave Heaven, Lin Shiming took in the orderly state of Shuangmu Island and nodded slightly, reassured.

Had Shuangmu Island lain in ruins following his retreat, Lin Shiming’s heart would surely be burdened with imasurable guilt.

He had initially planned for seven or eight years to suffice for his breakthrough, but he had underestimated the gap between Golden Core Middle Stage and Golden Core Late Stage.

"Shiming!" Lin Xianzhi erged from the mountain peak nearby.

"Seventh Granduncle, what is the current situation?" Through the reach of his Divine Sense, Lin Shiming noticed that the family had gained several additional Purple Mansion cultivators, along with an increased number of Foundation Establishnt disciples.

"The situation is becoming increasingly dire. Currently, Yunyue Island has established the Anti-Shark Sect, featuring nine True Monarch powerhouses. Including our Lin Family’s Qiu Xue Sword bearer, there are now ten True Monarchs."

"The Taiqian Shark Tribe’s Taiqian Mist has already begun expanding, though at present it hasn’t reached our defensive line. Only Third Rank and Fourth Rank Taiqian Sharks have been sighted thus far," Lin Xianzhi explained.

Upon hearing this, Lin Shiming knew the Taiqian Shark Tribe had likely gathered sufficient strength, with the Heavenly Gate surely bringing in no fewer than seven or eight True Monarch-level powers.

Otherwise, their plan wouldn’t unfold so effortlessly.

What remained uncertain was whether their highest True Monarch had reached the Mid-Nascent Soul Stage.

Lin Shiming felt concerned but reasoned that other families were likely even more trepidacious, allowing him to manage his own fears.

"Additionally, Shiming, judging from the activity, it appears that Shitao and Lei Xuan may be close to breaking through. But of course, the commotion at Northern Sword Pavilion is even greater!" Lin Xianzhi continued.

Lei Xuan and Lin Shitao had entered seclusion for breakthroughs right before Lin Shiming’s retreat.

The fact that neither had succeeded yet left Lin Shiming sowhat surprised.

As for the developnts at Northern Sword Pavilion, Lin Shiming brimd with expectation!
