The breach of the Green Lotus Temple’s mountain gate was not an impossible event.

However, for it to happen so swiftly, this complicates matters greatly!

The Tuyun Ridge and the Green Lotus Mountain Range originally lie on a horizontal line, one to the east and the other to the west, like the lead and tail of a line.

If the Green Lotus Temple were to hold the front line, even if the Tuyun Ridge beca a main focus of the Beast Tide’s assault, the pressure wouldn’t be insurmountable.

But with the breach of the Green Lotus Temple’s mountain gate, the Zhou Family at Tuyun Ridge has beco the most prominent target for the Beast Tide’s northward push!

At this point, even if the Fifth-order Demon King doesn’t make a move, the Zhou Family cannot withstand the tens of thousands of massive beasts, nor withstand the siege of twenty or thirty Fourth Order Magical Beasts.

Therefore, Zhou Chun could only execute the backup plan and initiate a strategic withdrawal from Tuyun Ridge, before the reinforcents of the Beast Tide arrive.

Withdrawing from Tuyun Ridge ans abandoning this Spirit Mountain Blessed Land, relinquishing a family domain cultivated for one to two hundred years.

This is a trendous loss for the Zhou Family both in terms of morale and material resources.

If it weren’t absolutely necessary, Zhou Chun truly wouldn’t want to make this decision.

But things have indeed reached an unavoidable juncture.

Choosing to stand ground and lose lives ans losing both territory and people.

Only saving lives and abandoning land offers a chance to rise again and reclaim lost territory!

However, the true reason that solidified Zhou Chun’s resolve to withdraw was the breach of the Green Lotus Temple’s mountain gate!

After the breach, even if they had withdrawn nurous disciples like the Zhou Family, reclaiming the territory would be nearly impossible.

In this scenario, once Magical Beasts are driven back to the Wasteland Territory, the Zhou Family can rightfully replace the Green Lotus Temple and take over the Green Lotus Mountain Range.

To better occupy and develop this Spirit Mountain Blessed Land later, Zhou Chun must preserve the Zhou Family’s vital strength now!

Though the current withdrawal from Tuyun Ridge seems to result in significant losses, it will allow the family to advance further in the long term.

Once Zhou Chun made up his mind, he promptly took action.

The Zhou Family had gained intelligence on the upcoming Great Beast Tide years in advance and naturally had prepared nurous counterasures.

Zhou Chun had long instructed the Golden Armor Turtle Bearer, Stone, to dig several escape tunnels deep underground around Tuyun Ridge for use during the evacuation.

These escape tunnels, located hundreds of feet underground, are challenging for even the Divine Sense of a Fifth-order Demon King to detect.

Moreover, they don’t directly connect to Tuyun Ridge, so even if discovered outside, they cannot be used to launch a subterranean assault on the Zhou Family Mountain Gate.

However, when needed, the Golden Armor Turtle Bearer, Stone, can excavate a tunnel connecting these escape routes within half a day, forming a complete escape route!

Once Zhou Chun made his decision, the Golden Armor Turtle Bearer, Stone, imdiately sprang into action.

Simultaneously, the Zhou Family cultivators within the mountain gate received the evacuation notice and began hastily packing their belongings.

In truth, there wasn’t much to pack, as the truly precious items were already taken care of long ago.

This was true for the Jiufeng Ridge as well.

A year ago, Zhou Chun had secretly transplanted several rare spirit fruit trees, including the Foundation Establishnt Fruit Tree, and so rare spiritual dicines to Bamboo Leaf Island in Yueguo Country.

Although this could undermine their Essence Energy, Mu Sang and Wood Charm could nurture them to minimize the damage.

Once the Beast Tide recedes and the Zhou Family is stabilized, they can be transplanted back.

Thus, at this point, it was essentially a matter of packing personal items and organizing the family treasure vault, the secret vault, and the Book Collection Pavilion.

Even with preparation, many things had to be left behind.

For instance, so Demonic Beasts that couldn’t be taken, and the Fourth-Grade Purple Mulberry before Zhou Chun’s cavern residence!

Zhou Chun had deliberated long on whether to transplant this spiritual wood.

Transplanting the wood itself wasn’t hard, but preserving the Jade Marrow Ganoderma growing on it was the challenge.

These Jade Marrow Ganodermas had been growing for so ti; if the spiritual wood were moved, their fragile state might lead to withering, resulting in significant loss.

After much consideration, Zhou Chun decided not to transplant this spiritual wood.

He thought simply that even if Demonic Beasts occupied Tuyun Ridge, they would at most damage Human Clan constructions, but wouldn’t deliberately destroy a Fourth-Grade Spiritual Wood like the Purple Mulberry.

It might even serve as a nest or territory for so Fourth Order Magical Beast.

Apart from the Purple Mulberry, Zhou Chun definitely had to take away the Spirit Eye Spring and the "Pure Spirit Tree" stump from his dwelling.

Despite potential harm to the Spirit Vein and the items themselves due to their removal, Zhou Chun first stored the stump in a Storage Pouch, then forcibly collected the Spirit Eye Spring.

Now at the Golden Core Middle Stage, aiding with the power of the great array to sever the connection between the Spirit Eye Spring and the Spirit Vein, collecting the Spirit Eye Spring did not require much ti.

Just half a day later, Zhou Chun successfully packed the Spirit Eye Spring.

At this point, the Golden Armor Turtle Bearer, Stone, had excavated an escape passage, connecting it to the previously dug tunnels.
