After Nezha landed, he faced Bi Yun and gave a bow, a sincere smile accompanying his joy as he asked, "Daoist brother, how did you know I was coming and waited here so early?"

Though young, Bi Yun was indeed a sincere gentleman.

Living in the mountains with hardly any friends, his acquaintance with Nezha was brief, yet their hearts treated each other sincerely and had long regarded each other as friends.

Having friends coming from afar, isn’t it a joy?

Bi Yun was pleased, so his face also bore a sincere smile as he said, "Master divined yesterday that you would co this morning, and asked to wait here early. And indeed, you ca."

Nezha was moved and had previously asked Mr. Fan about this divination art, but he still had no clue, thinking that throwing a few copper coins and calculating could understand the past and future, isn’t that much more amazing than any supercomputer?

He peered behind Bi Yun toward the stone platform, only to see that the stone platform was spotlessly clean, with a lingering Sword Intent congealing and not dispersing.

Bi Yun asked, "Nezha, what are you looking at?"

Nezha smiled and said, "I was wondering why I haven’t seen that hot-tempered little Daoist today. If he were to confront with a sword again, I would really like to ask him about his swordsmanship."

Seeing the teasing expression on Nezha’s face, Bi Yun shook his head and sighed, saying, "Don’t tease the elder brother anymore. He is a bit hot-headed, but he’s not foolish. He knows he can’t defeat your Chaos Sky Silk, where would he dare provoke you again, he’d avoid you if he can."

"I’ll give you face; if he doesn’t co to provoke next ti, I won’t bother him either."

Bi Yun laughed, "That would be best. Let lead you to et our Master."

What Bi Yun didn’t ntion was that since his last defeat by Nezha, Cai Yun seed to have encountered so issues with her cultivation and hadn’t progressed at all.

Though a fortnight isn’t long in a cultivator’s asure, in the eyes of Mother Shi Ji, unresolved heart knots could trouble one for a lifeti.

Shi Ji was also notoriously sharp-tongued; rather than advising, she directly punished Cai Yun to retreat in ditation in the nearby Golden Chicken Cave, declaring that until she resolves her heart knot and understands, she cannot co out.

The Golden Chicken Cave wasn’t far from here; it was a secluded cave with a skylight where daylight sporadically filtered through the leaves and shone upon the large boulder in the center of the cave.

The place was damp and cold, aside from so snakes and bugs, not even the mountain wild beasts, much less Shi Ji and her disciples, liked to co here.

But at this mont, on that large boulder, sat a young girl at the age of budding beauty, with black hair flowing from her back down to her waist, draped in a loose gray Daoist robe. She resembled the usual hair-bunned Daoist Cai Yun quite a bit, but the sophistication in her eyes and brows was replaced by the vivacity typical of a girl her age.

Although Cai Yun was sitting in ditation, she wasn’t imrsed in deep contemplation nor repeatedly reciting the Calming Incantation as Shi Ji had instructed.

In fact, she had recited the Calming Incantation hundreds of tis, but it was all to no avail.

Cai Yun frowned tightly, her verdant fingers clutching a fish-patterned green jade hairpin.

She took a deep breath and her mind was still incessantly haunted by a face she found utterly detestable; no matter how she tried to calm or ditate, she couldn’t shake it off.

She didn’t understand what was going on, so she asked her master.

Shi Ji, upon knowing, was furious, saying she was not focused on cultivation but instead pondering on these mundane romantic affairs, and thus punished her to ditate in seclusion within Golden Chicken Cave.

Cai Yun didn’t understand, she didn’t understand the strange feelings in her heart, nor what was happening to her now.

She didn’t even understand what Shi Ji ant by "mundane romantic affairs", adding to her confusion.

There was only one thing that Cai Yun was certain of now.

That is this matter had currently affected her cultivation, even angering her master.

Cai Yun muttered to herself: "This detestable Nezha, must I really kill him to resolve this?"

Poor Nezha, if he knew that so fourteen-year-old little Daoist nun, who didn’t understand worldly manners and was scolded by her master due to her puberty-induced feelings for him, had harbored thoughts of killing him, he would certainly cry injustice.

Regrettably, Nezha didn’t know, Shi Ji didn’t care, only letting Cai Yun’s heart’s burgeoning feelings grow stronger and more misguided.

Nezha ca before Shi Ji, presented his gifts, and returned the Water-Repelling Pearl, which slightly eased Shi Ji’s expression. Looking at Nezha, she thought why none of her two disciples were as clever-minded.

It went without saying for Cai Yun, but Bi Yun was even more foolish; though devoted in cultivation, after venturing to the mortal world, she only cared about hoarding food, neglecting to bring anything back for her master.

Shi Ji asked Nezha about his adventure in the East Sea, and Nezha narrated everything in detail.

After listening, Shi Ji exclaid, "You’re also lucky, Ao Bing’s realm has reached the ranks of Independent Immortals, if he’s not impatient and truly masters the Daoist Skill related to Primordial Spirit, even if your abilities defy nature, it’d still be hard to overco this Immortal Dao barrier."

"What is this Immortal Dao barrier, Your Highness?"

Hearing this, although not unexpected, Shi Ji couldn’t help but sigh internally, this child really knows nothing. She said, "Ao Bing losing to you, he must feel incredibly suffocated."

Nezha said, "I also took advantage of magic treasures, but from what I see of Ao Bing, although he knows swordsmanship, he isn’t much of a fighter."

Shi Ji laughed, "Four Seas Dragon Palace, nurous cultivators in secluded mountains with profound realms, but as for fighting, talking about the Golden Core Realm, without using magic treasures, nine out of ten can’t beat those military generals from God Absorption Realm serving the court."

Seeing Nezha’s puzzled look, she smiled and said, "Different goals, nothing more normal. Military generals seek victory in battlefields, not for fairness but for triumph, naturally using military strategies and even so Jie Sect Disciples practice the Left Dao Technique. However, prestigious sects of true cultivators, seeking only one thing, that is eternal life."

"Only immortality?"

"Yes, annihilating all emotions, severing all desires, solely pursuing immortality."

Nezha exclaid, "That’s truly persistent."

Shi Ji laughed, "You, child, don’t put on this pretentious old-sage act in front of your grandma; it’s annoying to watch. A re God Absorption Realm cultivator, with your Golden Core yet to form, here you are lanting over those revered elders continually advancing on the Path of Immortality."

Hearing this, since Shi Ji started the topic, Nezha continued, "Your Highness, I’ve been in the God Absorption Realm for so ti now, accumulating considerable Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi, but I completely lack the knowledge on how to further condense the Golden Core, and I’m also clueless about the Immortal Dao barrier and Primordial Spirit Techniques you ntioned earlier, it’s unbearable, I hope you can enlighten ."
