If you were to marry him, you can surely live a good life. That’s why I blundered and pretended to arrange an engagent with Mr. Caleb Mat.”
Zora Hughes widened her eyes and took a few steps back, crying in despair, “I’m not Mr. Caleb Mat’s fiancée? I wronged Xaviera! I was wrong, really wrong!”

“Technically, Miss Hughes received a high-level education, so how can she be so unreasonable? Surely she didn’t learn this from her fiery and intense grandma?”
Jero Russell’s ridicule made Zora’s face turn pale green. She glared at Jero Russell, venomous and helpless.
After being mocked, the noble lady was furious, “Zora is innocent! Mrs. Mat didn’t lose anything, so why can’t she just forgive Zora! Mrs. Mat is being excessively calculating, which does not suit her position!”
Jero Russell sneered, “Position? Since you know about Xaviera’s position, you should show her basic respect! Who are you to educate the daughter of the Russell family?”
