Chapter 798: Chapter 798: First Ti Signing an Autograph for a Dog

Xaviera Evans suddenly looked up, panicked for a mont, but quickly regained her calm.

She didn’t know how long Boyd Drew had been there, or what he had heard, but he must have started to suspect sothing. He was actively investigating Cold Night, yet he dared not confirm his suspicions.

Today, he had co to the oil painting exhibition again and had coincidentally overheard a conversation between Mrs. Carter and Xaviera Evans. He learned that Xaviera was Hayin; he had a bad feeling, perhaps he would have to abandon his current plan.

If Cold Night was still alive, or if there was any relationship between Cold Night and Xaviera, he would pay a heavy price, a price he could not afford.

Boyd Drew lowered his voice, with a smirk on his face: “So, Miss Evans is Hayin!”

Xaviera Evans looked up with impatience, “Does my identity concern you? Are we close to each other? If Mr. Drew has nothing important to say, please keep your distance. I don’t like interacting with strangers.”

The atmosphere grew quiet imdiately. Boyd Drew was still calm, his face all smiles, “I’m just a fan of both Cold Night and Hayin. Now that I know Miss Evans is Hayin, I was wondering if I could get an autograph. Is that okay?”

Xaviera sneered, “Of course! I’m so famous, many people want my autograph, but this is the first ti a dog has asked for it! How could I refuse such a rare experience?”

The smile on Boyd Drew’s face froze and a hint of anger flashed in his eyes.

After overhearing Xaviera’s identity, he had imdiately sent people to investigate any connection between her and Cold Night, but there was no evidence or clues. The more this was the case, the more unsettling it felt.

His sinister gaze was firmly locked on Xaviera. He was trying to discern sothing from her, but she calmly signed an autograph for him, then mocked, “So, the young master of the prestigious Drews family likes to eavesdrop. Is this how the Drews raised you?”

In the distant corner, the eavesdroppers Caleb Mat and Steve Price: “…”

Steve Price patted his chest and exhaled deeply. Luckily, his wife hadn’t found out that they were eavesdropping. Otherwise, the repercussions would be more than just a mocking comnt.

Boyd Drew tentatively asked, “So, does Miss Evans know where Cold Night is? Can you tell ?”

He still suspected that Cold Night was related to Xaviera. Mrs. Carter and Xaviera had ntioned Cold Night in private, and both artists’ nas were so similar. Could that be a coincidence?

On hearing his question, Xaviera raised an eyebrow contemptuously, “Who do you think you are? Why should I tell you anything?”

In the corner, Steve Price: “…” I’m done for! If this continues, Boyd Drew will be angered to the point of vomiting blood by his wife.

As expected, Boyd Drew’s face turned sour; he clenched his fist and swallowed his anger, “Miss Evans deliberately provokes , not wanting to investigate Cold Night, right? So, you must know Cold Night.”

Xaviera’s heart was pounding. Boyd Drew had started to suspect. This man was very suspicious. He must have planted a seed of doubt in his mind, probably would not launch the new perfu as planned. But Caleb Mat had been planning this for three years…

She couldn’t ruin Caleb’s plan, she had to make Boyd believe that Cold Night was no longer alive.

Suddenly, Xaviera felt a sharp pain in her eyes, and tears welled up. When she looked up, Boyd’s eyes were bloodshot.

Xaviera took a while to recover from her discomfort. They stood silently facing each other for quite so ti, but no one spoke.

Steve price in the corner suddenly noticed sothing was wrong. The iceman beside him said, “This isn’t your concern. Leave.”

Steve Price was so frightened that he stuttered, “Mr. Mat, calm down. We’re in a gallery, with many eyes upon us. Please, don’t commit a murder here!”

In that mont, Caleb Mat had clearly seen the transformation in Boyd’s eyes – they had turned blood red, as if he was under so sort of control.

Xaviera, who was closest to Boyd, also noticed sothing was wrong. It was as if Boyd had turned into a puppet. She quietly lowered her voice, ordering tentatively, “Raise your hand.”

Boyd Drew obediently raised his hand despite the blank look in his eyes.

Xaviera was completely shocked. Did Boyd Drew just listen to her command? Could that be due to hypnotism?

But hadn’t Albert said her hypnotism could only be applied to Caleb? Why did it also work on Drew?

A bold guess crossed Xaviera’s mind, maybe she was lucky and had gained the ability to hypnotize others. Was it possible that she had controlled Drew just by giving him an angry stare?
