Housekeeper Bronte said, “Yes, Mr. Mat, what does a family that doesn’t even care about their own daughter care about? Please leave!”
Nidya Hughes was looking embarrassed, wanting to argue but lacking the courage to do so.
Anna Campbell clenched her teeth with a gloomy face.
This housekeeper Bronte was really ddling. How dare he play the recording!
Nidya Hughes changed her tone and looked fawning: “Mrs. Flack, it’s not my fault. I… I heard that Xaviera often fooled around with many n before she recognized us as her family, so I said those things on purpose to see if she would agree.”

Before the person could finish, Nidya Hughes interrupted hysterically: “What’s inappropriate about it? Anna is the daughter of the Campbell and Hughes families, our jewel. Marrying Mr. Mat is not beyond her reach. Although I know Mr. Mat may not like Anna yet, feelings can be cultivated.”
