My mother, the one known as the Grey Woman was eager to find out what was going on in the mansion. I never understood what she had done to deserve that title. It ant a lot in our community.
"That is because they were idiots. And you are not going to repeat their mistakes," my mother hissed back, making roll my eyes.
"It doesn’t matter what I want. They’re going to get killed. Now that all the brothers are feeling fine, they’ll convince Emt to kill ," I grunted, walking deeper into the woods, following the path my mother had told to take.

"You don’t have to worry about her. She is not our problem. Our main issue is controlling Emt. We have to make it happen. He must be on your side and kill his brothers and that Helanie," she stated determinedly.
Her words didn’t inspire much confidence. Honestly, I was losing hope. At first, this all sounded interesting. I thought it would be easy. How hard could it be? Make him fall in love with , then tell him what to do, and he’d do it.

I wondered if Helanie asked them to do sothing like that, would they do it? Maybe not. That’s why they loved her. They knew she’d never ask such things. But my life was different. I had to ask. I had to make Emt kill his brothers.

"We are going back ho." As soon as my mother said that, I froze, shaking my head like it was a bad joke.
"You want to face him again? You know he doesn’t like ," I hissed, thinking about how, just because I was his daughter from a werewolf witch woman, he treated as less than the others. His other children ca from crazy, terrifying won, which is why he loved them more. He probably saw himself in them. But and my mother, we were different.
"You want him to remind again why he hates ?" I snapped, stopping dead in my tracks.
"Don’t act like you don’t deserve his hatred," my mother groaned, giving that look.
"I told you, I killed them because they were going after Emt," I hissed, rembering my twin siblings, the two entities known as Zu and Za. I loved them desperately. They treated better than my father ever did. But they beca unhinged when they realized I was falling for soone. And I guess they felt betrayed because we used to have so much fun together–killing helpless rogues.
We loved each other. We cared deeply for one another. But then they didn’t want to let go, and I realized our care had beco toxic. So, in a fit of rage, I killed them both.
After that, when they awoke in Lucy’s body, I tried to remind them of how much we had cared for each other in the past. But they were furious with . And now they are gone once again. I hated Helanie for that.
"It will be alright. Since everyone else is gone, your father will put all his faith in you. Rember, you have to convince Emt to accept you. And since we no longer have the four brothers to lead our community, we will rely on you and your children with Emt. Those will be special babies too. So you must convince your father you won’t ruin this," she said and I rolled my eyes.
"I did et him a few days ago. Rember how upset he was?" I hissed, reminding her how unpredictable Father was. "I t him in the woods, with Lucy, when the entities were inside her. And he kept reminding I wasn’t fully a magical being."
"That’s because you lied to him again," my mother hissed, dragging up the one mory I wanted to forget.
"Mom, I screwed things up with Emt in the past. So I thought it was best to act dead for a few years. I thought he’d miss , and once he was completely broken, I’d show up again and revive his heart. But then Helanie showed up out of nowhere," I grunted, rembering when his mother tried to toss into the well.

I kept living with my mother, even trying to et up with my father a few tis. But I hated being controlled by anyone. Then, when I thought the ti was right—when I thought Emt would get blad for Helanie falling into the well—I reappeared, pretending I had been saved by the sacrifice.
But it was never a sacrifice. I never returned because I was never dead to begin with.
"Anyway, let’s go. You’re the only one who can keep X-codex now, so I’m sure your father will be much softer toward you and ," my mother said. Together we walked into the deep forest.
When we arrived ho, I was instantly annoyed. I didn’t like it, to be honest. I liked being alone, crazy, free to do whatever I wanted without anyone interfering.

"I heard sothing happened in the woods while and my mom were on our way here. Basically, the Zharns are too stupid to realize the entities have already left Lucy’s body," I said, complaining.
