Author’s POV:
Darcy had just gotten the news from Charlotte that Helanie might be pregnant. She had asked Charlotte to keep a very witty eye on Helanie and her actions. After she found out that Helanie had married Norman, she reached out to her seer again, and the seer told her Helanie was going to be the shared mate. It was like the moon goddess tried to play a ga with them, but it was going to backfire so badly.
"And, what are you doing with this information?" Darcy asked Charlotte, who was lost and confused.
What was she supposed to do?
"I don’t know. I guess whatever you say," Charlotte said. She had been trying her best to make it seem like she was not a bad person anymore. But it was kind of hard for her not to be when she saw Maximus love Helanie so much. Every ti she would see them together, anger would start to bubble in her veins.
"Okay, then listen to . I have sent you sothing. Did you receive it?" Darcy asked.
Charlotte nodded her head, grabbing the big envelope.
"Yeah, there are so pages. From so diary, I guess," she uttered, confused.
"Yes, it’s Emt’s diary. I have copied his handwriting and written sothing over it. Keep these things safe with you. Don’t utilize them yet. I’m trying to find a way to utilize sothing that happened to Emt in our favor," Darcy said.
And Charlotte began to worry about what it was going to be.
"I don’t understand. What is it?" she asked.
"Okay, listen. My seer has helped put so thoughts into Emt’s mind with the help of the Zharns."
As soon as Darcy said that, Charlotte’s heart started to pound louder. She had heard about those things. She was afraid of those things. But Darcy being able to have that power to make them do sothing confused her.
"But I thought only the X-Vortex could control them. How were you able to—" Charlotte shut up when Darcy grunted from the other side.
"You don’t have to know so much. Just know that my seer has done it. Emt has asked Helanie to co to the well. Obviously, he wouldn’t rember it at all. We are going to play the sa ga we have played before," Darcy recalled.
Once Helanie and Emt had decided to get married, Darcy had gotten a whiff of it. It was a few months ago, on the exact night when Helanie was supposed to marry soone. It was easy for Darcy to stop that from happening. Once during the altercation with her rapist, Helanie had dropped her bracelet. That is when the tracker had co out of it.
Darcy had managed to steal the tracker and use it on that specific night. She gave the tracker to one of her warriors and let him go loose sowhere in the woods. Then the tracker started beeping for Emt. Emt had no clue that the tracker had gone off. He thought Helanie was in trouble. So frantically, he started to chase after the beeper. He went deep into the woods, so far in that he began to feel the whispers of the whispers of the monsters around, but there was nothing there. He could not understand what was happening to him, what was going on with him.
Until he was led to the area filled with wolfsbane herb, Emt began to feel very drowsy, but he kept going because he knew the tracker was informing him that Helanie was sowhere in that area. He was already having mory issues that night. And that tracker had ssed him up. He was in the middle of driving towards the courthouse when the tracker beeped. He did not even have any warriors with him. His cell phone signals were not working. And he did not want to waste any more ti. He knew Helanie must have pressed the button of the tracker with so much hope that Emt would co and save her. So he did not care how much wolfsbane he was inhaling, even though he knew it would be extrely bad for his health and his condition. He did not care. He kept going and going, deeper and deeper, until he could no longer move forward.
And then he passed out. Even when falling down, he tried his best to stay awake because he knew his Helanie was waiting for him. However, the minute he passed out, he was carried by two warriors of Darcy and taken to a bar. He was placed there with a lot of alcohol around him, drenched on him. And then he was found there by his brothers. By that ti, he had no recollection of what had happened due to the excessive amount of wolfsbane in his system. But Darcy was happy because she was going to use his condition once again against him. But it backfired when her other son married Helanie, the more conscious and strong headed son.
"Okay, why has he invited Helanie to a well?" Charlotte asked.
"Because I am going to sacrifice her baby and her all in one to save both my children and my twins from the curse."
Darcy thought she had found a loophole. She thought the Grey Woman was stupid. She was wasting her ti. Every ti she would ask for money from Darcy, Darcy thought she was just extorting her at this point. It could have been done easily. Why did she have to wait for so long?
So what if she throws Helanie into the well of sacrifice, gets rid of Helanie, her son’s shared mate, and also kills the baby? The curse would be gone. Both her oldest children and her younger twins would survive.
"Oh, that is scary," Charlotte stated, not sure if she wanted to be a part of such an elaborate cri.
"It will be all fine, Charlotte. Don’t you love Maximus?" she asked Charlotte, and Charlotte began to nod her head.
"But what do you want to do? I’m not going to push her down," Charlotte confird. She wouldn’t do that.
"Don’t worry, I will do it myself. As for you, I want you to throw these papers all around Emt’s bedroom the night I tell you. For now, keep them safe," Darcy smirked as she understood she was doing an amazing job. And she was going to get rid of all her troubles at once.
