I watched Nick smirk as I challenged him. That spark in his eyes, the one that warned I’d just stepped into dangerous territory, flared into a full blaze. His control, his quiet dominance, it all ca alive. The fire within his soul just awakened, and I could feel it wrapping around like smoke.
That devilish gaze does things to I can’t even explain. It’s the kind of look that strips bare and makes wet without him touching , that makes my pulse stumble between fear and desire.

Nick loosened his tie, his movents echoing with authority. When his fingers reached for his belt, I caught him by the waist, stopping him.
