Evening, Seth Sterling’s room.

Seth nervously watched his phone, the screen displaying a stopwatch tir, "Ready, start!"

At his command, Mr. T’s hands began to move. The gun parts scattered on the table seed to co alive. With just a few deft movents, they clicked into place, forming a revolver.

Seth quickly hit stop and exclaid, "11 seconds." He looked at T with admiration and disbelief in his eyes.

"Alright." T put the gun down, "It seems I need to practice more."

Seth looked like he had discovered a new continent, his large eyes flickering with curiosity, "How fast were you before?"

"Hmm, if I rember correctly, my fastest record was around 5 seconds. Usually 6 or 7 seconds are enough." T was fond of this little guy, even though he sowhat resembled Ethan Sterling.

Seth pondered what could be done in 5 seconds,

and none seed as cool as assembling a gun.

He tentatively reached out a finger to touch the pistol, full of reverence for the small, scratched-up gun.

"Mr. T, are the bullets in this gun real bullets?"

"That’s sothing I think I should tell you when you’re older." T put the gun away after speaking, resisting a strong urge to teach this kid how to assemble these seemingly useless parts into sothing protective, knowing Ruby Sullivan might throw him out overnight if she found out.

Seth pursed his lips in slight disappointnt and said in a very adult-like manner: "So things shouldn’t be said carelessly, I understand."

T smiled and couldn’t help ruffling his hair, "I had a younger brother who was a lot like you."

"You had a younger brother when you were young?" Seth was puzzled by his phrasing, "What about now?"

"Hmm, my brother passed away many years ago." Seeing Seth’s apologetic expression, he quickly added, "It’s alright, it’s been a long ti. I just occasionally rember him." Then... he felt a bit envious of family life.

Recently, he had been thinking, he was sure about his feelings for Ruby Sullivan, yet when he saw Ethan Sterling, he felt no intense hostility. He was unsure if it was because he didn’t care about Ruby enough, or if his emotional response was so slow he hadn’t realized the jealousy?

The latter seed problematic no matter how he thought about it, so it had to be the forr, though he was unwilling to admit his feelings for Ruby weren’t strong enough or pure enough.

But when he appeared at the doorway today, seeing Honey and Seth with Ruby in an apron busy in the kitchen, he suddenly ca to a realization.

He desperately wanted this kind of life: lovely children, a virtuous wife; this warm family was what he desired most, far surpassing the simple wish to have Ruby Sullivan.

At that mont, he had to admit his liking for Ruby Sullivan was because he saw in her the warmth of family life, and liking her cooking tied into that notion, though a bigger reason was Ruby’s cooking was simply too delicious.

He had always wanted a complete family.

The won around him were nurous, but most had strong ulterior motives, and none had dostic attributes, so when Ruby Sullivan ca along, he was captivated.

After all, not only did this woman have dostic virtues, she also possessed a beautiful appearance and captivating figure, enough to make any man’s hormones surge. Although, when Ethan Sterling appeared, and when he saw that in her eyes there was only Ethan, he naturally chose to respect her feelings.

Initially, T was stunned by his own greatness in love because for soone in his position, valuing a person so much wasn’t a good thing, as it ant a vulnerability. When that weakness wasn’t by his side, he felt even more anxious.

But when Ethan Sterling sought him out, that anxiety subtly shifted.

He admired Ethan Sterling, not every man could make such a choice, to ask a rival for help, very candidly, and admitted his helplessness. Yet he wasn’t blind; as Ethan said, if it were L, he would never have asked in the first place.

Yes, recently, he was quite disgusted with that old geezer L, and he highly appreciated Ethan’s judgent.

At that mont, there was a gentle knock on the door.

Seth went to open it, "Mom."

"I’ve cut up so fruit." Ruby Sullivan smiled at her son, then spoke to T inside.

"Thank you."

Ruby entered and put down the fruit, looking at the gun on the table with so tension, "Uh, what were you talking about?" Her smile turned awkward.

T quickly put the gun away, "Don’t worry, I haven’t taught your son anything bad."

"Mr. T told many stories about living in Myriada and showed his gun. He can take it apart and reassemble it in less than half a minute; isn’t that cool?" Her son rarely talked about anything with such starry-eyed excitent.

Indeed, boys naturally have an inclination toward hardcore things.

"T is also a kung fu master; if you want to know anything, you can discuss it with him."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot." Seth was even more excited, "Mr. T, I’ve studied kickboxing, want to see throw so punches?"

"Of course!"

Ruby chuckled wryly, "But not today, it’s already late today, you and Mr. T need to rest."

"Can I stay with Mr. T tonight?" Seth pleaded with his mom.

Originally, he had to give up his room for T and sleep with his sister for the night.

But now he found he had endless things to talk about with T and wanted to chat a bit more, even just listening to a few more stories would be nice.

Ruby cherished her son’s current expression, sowhat torn as she looked to T.

T thought about it, then frankly said, "I haven’t slept with a child since I was ten, hmm, being with Seth should be interesting."

"Of course, it will definitely be!" Seth tried to keep a modest smile, his dimples large and deep.

Ruby feigned seriousness, "You have to be asleep by midnight, understand?"

"Understood, mom."

"Okay, I understand too." T found the interaction between the mother and son very amusing and couldn’t help but add.

Ruby raised an eyebrow, "Then I won’t bother you anymore. Is there anything else you need?"

"If there is, I’ll have Seth go find Mama Bennett." T finished and couldn’t resist complinting, "I didn’t expect Seth’s Bellaza is also so good."

Ruby arrogantly smiled, "My son may not have major strengths, but he is smart."

T watched her proud motherly deanor, chuckling.

Seth’s face flushed, pushing his mom out, "Mom, you should leave. Goodnight."
