Sasha Shaw first thought about creating a personal brand when she graduated from university, but at that ti she had no startup funds, and the only way to quickly get money was to follow the old path.

Later, after becoming famous, she slowly saved money and refused to sign long-term stable contracts with big brands, also keeping her dream of creating her own brand. Until she saw a senior be exposed for past scandals, causing their thriving career to stall, and their longti boyfriend couldn’t handle it, leading to a breakup.

However, the senior did not fall into despair, despite the pressure, they managed to establish the brand, which was the shop Sasha took Ruby Sullivan to today.

Although knowing that the scandal was intentionally released by competitors to hit the senior, and knowing that such online exposure would pass as long as you endure the heat, even if causing so economic harm, there will be an end to it, Sasha still felt timid.

She was always a person who dared to act and take responsibility; if anyone questioned her, she would not flatly deny it. That’s why at Dina Finn’s wedding, she chose not to say anything and accepted everything silently.

To be clear, in that situation, if she had outright denied everything or laughed off what the other party said, others wouldn’t be able to provide evidence, but she couldn’t do that.

She chose such a path and didn’t feel the need to apologize to anyone for her choice; thus, any disdain or contempt from others, she would accept it as well.

She wasn’t afraid of losing soone she liked, wasn’t afraid of career stagnation, but she feared her family being hurt.

She was scared that her brother would find out the money for his treatnt years ago ca from her selling herself, scared that her excellence which made her family proud would turn ugly, and scared her family would be ridiculed as a result.

Therefore, she preferred to keep a low profile and be cautious, fearing that she might get in soone’s way and be caught.

For so many years, she tried her best to beco a person who could get along with everyone, even hiding her occasional unhappiness in her heart.

But today, seeing Ruby Sullivan’s bravery stirred sothing in her; if she couldn’t overco her fear, her lifeti achievents might just end here.

When Ruby Sullivan got ho, Gwen Yates hadn’t left yet, she was doing a popcorn experint with Seth Sterling and Honey.

"Do you know? The principle of heating popcorn is actually the sa as launching a rocket into the air. If we succeed in making popcorn today, maybe our next step could be studying rockets."

Gwen Yates and the little ones knelt on the floor, their eyes gleaming brightly, as if successfully making popcorn could open up a new world.

Seth Sterling beca excited after hearing this, "I’ve always wanted to make a rocket model." But his abilities are limited, researching alone might take a long ti, getting Gwen Yates’ help would be fantastic.

He was used to being reserved, and since Gwen was Honey’s teacher, he didn’t say much.

Honey also got more interested in rockets, pulling Gwen’s arm, "Mr. Yates, can we make a rocket next ti?"

Gwen Yates glanced at their eager eyes and smiled slightly, "Making a rocket model requires plenty of preparation. I’m in my examination period right now, I won’t have ti until after Wednesday next week."

"No problem, we can wait." Seth Sterling said, thrilled.

Honey nodded in agreent.

Gwen looked at their faces craving knowledge and laughed, "Okay, when exams are over and sumr break starts, we’ll work on making a rocket model."

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

The little ones high-fived joyfully, delighted beyond asure.

Ruby Sullivan watched the scene from the doorway feeling very gratified. Unexpectedly, Gwen’s interactions with them today were even more harmonious, but according to the agreed ti, Gwen should be leaving the house after lunch, she shouldn’t still be here.

She raised her hand and knocked on the open door, "Is there any popcorn for ? I could sll the fragrance."

"Mom!" Honey scrambled up and rushed to Ruby’s side, hugging her leg, "The popcorn is a gift from and my brother to mom, finished under Mr. Yates’ instruction, it’ll be ready very soon."

"Mom." Seth Sterling also smiled and called out.

Gwen turned around to greet her, "Wenny, it’ll be ready in five more minutes."

As they spoke, the room filled with a sweet fragrance, and faint popping sounds could be heard.

The popcorn machine Gwen made with the kids was very simplistic, the heat source just a piece of ordinary candle, a circular steaming rack in a pot, with a small tray cut from a soda can placed on top, and a glass jar placed over it completes the setup. Though slow, you could see the corn popping into flowers bit by bit.

Indeed before long they had a jar of popcorn, though it looked little more than a handful, because it was their own work, the little ones were ecstatic.

Ruby Sullivan pinched one to taste it, though not as tasty as those sold outside, the sweet and crispy texture was quite nice, "Very tasty, mom likes it a lot." she ruffled the kids’ heads.

"Wenny, I wanted to discuss sothing with you."

"Go ahead."

"It’s like this, I’m about to enter exam week, I might only have ti on Saturdays and Sundays this week, once exams end on Wednesday next week, I’ll be on holiday. Additionally... the school doesn’t allow staying in the dorm during sumr vacation, so... can I move in here?"

Ruby Sullivan thought for a mont and said: "The house is full, um... I’ll discuss with the house helpers about vacating a room for you during sumr, how about that?"

"That’s great, thank you, Wenny. I’ll be heading off then." Gwen felt grateful about having a place to stay during sumr.

"Alright, good luck with your exams." Ruby said, then recalled the experint earlier, couldn’t help but prompt, "The popcorn experints won’t be dangerous, right?" She didn’t understand much about the principles, but placing a glass jar over a heating dish, with the air inside constantly expanding, could lead to an explosion. It seems such incidents have happened online, a bit scary to think about.

Gwen was taken aback, "Uh... I’ll be careful next ti."

Ruby nodded, smiled and saw her out.

Mama Bennett, overhearing their conversation, rushed over and confronted Ruby, "Oh girl, you have a large heart to let her co live at our place!"

"Rarely do Honey and Seth both like her, moreover she’s a high achiever, the little ones can learn a lot from her, providing a bit of convenience during the sumr is normal."

Mama Bennett gave her a side glance, "I disagree, I won’t share a room with Owen, Mr. Sterling isn’t short of money, just rent her a place outside."

Honey overheard the conversation and hurriedly ran over, "Mom, I can sleep with Mr. Yates, my bed might not be big, but it’s definitely enough for two people."

Mama Bennett sighed and turned away. She knew Ruby would undoubtedly relent to her daughter, so she could only keep a close watch moving forward.

Ruby watched Mama Bennett leave and felt a bit uneasy, she seed too comfortable staying around Ethan Sterling, completely lacking awareness of potential dangers.

Although Gwen didn’t appear to be able to do anything with Ethan Sterling... oh well, after all, wasn’t it her nominal elder sister who once tried to hook up with Ethan!

She squatted down and consoled Honey, "Mom knows you’re being kind, but Mr. Yates might find staying at our house inconvenient, mom will discuss it with dad tonight, maybe there’s a better arrangent."

Honey felt relieved, as long as it didn’t delay Mr. Yates guiding her and her brother to build rockets.
