The address is the ergency room. Ruby Sullivan had just rushed in and noticed Honey sitting aside, the blood on her forehead had stopped flowing, covered with a white bandage, only the clenched fists on both sides revealed her tension.
Upon seeing her, Honey’s eyes brightened up suddenly, and then a grievance appeared, her mouth forming a pout, accompanied by sobbing: "Mom—"
Ruby Sullivan quickly held her in an embrace.
The little girl leaned on her shoulder, sobbing softly, enough to show how aggrieved she was. Ruby Sullivan felt like her heart was breaking. She looked up and noticed Ethan Sterling standing aside with an inscrutable expression.
And next to him was Rhonda Sullivan.
"Honey, later mom will take you to have desserts at Baker’s Desserts, okay? Don’t cry anymore, hmm?" Ruby Sullivan consoled softly.
"Mm, mom, don’t be angry, Honey will... just have one piece." Honey lightly tugged at Ruby Sullivan’s clothes, her eyes red-rimd, looking exhausted and pitiful.
Ruby Sullivan’s heart twisted, and after comforting her daughter for a while, ensuring she wasn’t too overwheld with emotion, she stood up. She looked towards the two, the tenderness on her face vanished, replaced with bone-piercing coldness. She looked at them icily: "Mr. Sterling, can you tell what exactly happened?"
"Why are you here? Why is Honey hurt?"
Her tone was aggressive, instinctively blaming Ethan Sterling as the culprit.
A flash of hatred appeared in her eyes.

Her eyes dimd, her heart nearly skipped heavily, the child in front of her bore a resemblance to Ethan Sterling, and seeing Rhonda Sullivan standing nearby made it clear.
This must be their child.
Seth Sterling sensed Ruby Sullivan’s gaze, lifted his eyes and was startled, the woman in front of him unexpectedly gave him an inexplicable sense of closeness.

Before he could think further, the woman in front spoke, her face calm, but her eyes like swords.

Upon hearing this, Rhonda Sullivan imdiately broke out in cold sweat down her back, wishing to tear Seth Sterling’s mouth apart, yet due to the presence of people, her face turned.
Ruby Sullivan flashed a cold smile, stepped forward half a step: "Is this true?"
Rhonda Sullivan didn’t speak, scared by her ghost-like face into stepping back half a step, before she could speak, Ruby Sullivan advanced on her: "Rhonda Sullivan, speak!"
Rhonda Sullivan didn’t have ti to wonder how she knew her na, she instinctively cast her eyes towards Ethan Sterling for help.
Ethan Sterling furrowed his brow, despite not wanting to intervene with Ruby Sullivan, after all, Honey’s injury was evident, yet Rhonda Sullivan was still his person.
"Mr. Sterling," unfortunately Ruby Sullivan seed to have guessed what he wanted to say, her tone icy, interrupting the words about to co out, "Cover your child’s eyes."
Ethan Sterling frowned, although not knowing what this woman was planning, he covered Seth Sterling’s eyes according to her words.
In the next second, Ruby Sullivan calmly and ruthlessly slapped Rhonda Sullivan across the face.
