High above the mortal world, beyond the veil of clouds and divine silence, the Sanctum of Dawnlight stood suspended in the firmant like a citadel of gold and sunfire. White marble spires twisted heavenward, crowned by blazing orbs that never dimd. The Hall of the Seven Flas was empty—until the light within the central fla flickered.
A soft tremor ran through the polished floor. The fla pulsed red. Then black. At once, the divine stillness was broken. A figure materialized within the hall, clothed in radiant light—a ssenger of the Divine Council. Tall, androgynous, and solemn, the being bore no weapon, for none were needed.
Wings of pale fire arched behind their shoulders, and a circlet of pure dawnlight glowed above their brow. This was Elintheris, Herald of the Throne of Illumination, and the Order's most trusted eye across the realms. They approached the fla, kneeling before its darkened core. "My lord," Elintheris spoke to the unseen, "the Fla of Tethered Fate has turned. The mark of Shadow burns anew in the mortal realm."
From the silence above ca a low, divine hum—an echo of higher voices layered in unison. "Whose soul stirs the black fla?" Elintheris hesitated, eyes narrowing. "The child with no na. The mortal cast from starlight. He walks the lands again... wielding the mark of Ardonis, the Forsaken Celestial. The one who led the Godslayers."
A deeper silence followed. The Hall seed to dim. The mory of war—of the shattered heavens, of divine blood upon celestial stone—whispered through the very bones of the sanctum. "Impossible," ca the answer. "Ardonis perished in the Sundering. His essence scattered across ti and shadow." "And yet," Elintheris said carefully, "the signature is undeniable. Not the full might, but the seed. It has awakened in him. I believe it calls the fragnts back." The central fla sparked once more, burning black at its core. "Then the Hour approaches. The Wheel turns again." Elintheris rose, eyes cold and determined. "Shall I intervene?"
"Not yet." The divine voice was firm. "Observe. Let him rise. If he bears Ardonis' legacy, then the balance must decide his fate. But should he seek the second crystal... should he reach for the power that once defied gods—then the Order shall answer."
With a bow, Elintheris turned and vanished, a falling star streaking toward the world below. And high in the heavens, the Seven Flas flickered... one step closer to war.
