"Now that I am full... it’s ti to figure out where the fuck this place is and why there are so many dragons casually fighting each other!"

Or at least, that was what Alden had optimistically thought while lying on the grass in his makeshift leaf clothes. Reality, however, proved far less cooperative and he learned that lesson the hard way.

"Arghh, why is it so fucking difficult?"

It had been five whole days since he started exploring but no matter how much he wandered through the forest, he never encountered a single humanoid species capable of helping him understand where he was.

Instead, all he found were predators.

Dragons battling across the sky, various species of dinosaurs roaming the land, massive birds large enough to carry away houses, apes the size of transport trucks and snakes capable of swallowing the dinosaurs whole in a single gulp.

They appeared to be the apex predators of this place, each species occupying its own territory. At first, whenever Alden stumbled across one of their groups, they imdiately attacked him.

Later, however...

They started avoiding him instead.

That alone was enough for Alden to realize they weren’t mindless beasts. They possessed so degree of intelligence and if they had intelligence, then there were probably rulers among them as well.

Not that he particularly cared. As long as they were edible and plentiful, he couldn’t give less of a fuck about if they attacked him or not.

Throughout those five days, he made sure not to stray too far from the lake since it was the only reliable source of fresh water he had found so far and without any proper way to carry water with him, going too far seed stupid.

So he explored a different direction each day.

And today...

Was another disappointnt.

He hadn’t found a single thing capable of holding a conversation.

The sun was already nearing the horizon as Alden made his way back toward the lake, following the markings he had carved into the trees over the past few days.

The journey back was uneventful as the local wildlife no longer bothered attacking him and instead chose to steer clear of him altogether.

But just as he was making his way through the forest, the sky suddenly lit up with a blinding flash as two dragons appeared overhead.

They were fighting.

Alden imdiately recognized one of them. Its wings were as white as fresh snow. It was the sa dragon he had seen battling the red dragon on the day he arrived.

Without hesitation, Alden climbed onto a nearby tree and concealed himself among the leaves while observing the battle.

The white dragon’s opponent was a massive orange dragon. Their clash raged across the sky. The white dragon moved with incredible speed, weaving gracefully through the air but the orange dragon possessed overwhelming power. It dominated the exchange from the very beginning.

The orange dragon suddenly opened its jaws and an incredible amount of mana gathered at its mouth. It was using the Dragon’s Breath as a torrent of destructive energy erupted across the sky.

The white dragon narrowly avoided a direct hit

but not completely. One of its wings was caught by the attack as it imdiately lost stability and spiraled downward, crashing sowhere near Alden’s position.

High above, the orange dragon circled the sky once, as it savoured its victory and then it began descending after its prey.

The orange dragon landed nearby and stared down at the white dragon with unconcealed arrogance. anwhile, Alden suppressed his presence to the utmost degree, making sure not to leak even the slightest trace of his mana signature.

After all, the dragons’ senses were absurdly sharp.

Fortunately, Monarch of Mana, a passive ability of his Supre Ability, made hiding himself far easier than it should have been.

At the sa ti, he activated his Spirit Domain. His senses expanded outward, allowing him to monitor every movent while listening to what the dragons were saying.

And due to the effect of Monarch of Mana, the mana released by Spirit Domain blended seamlessly with the ambient mana around him, attracting no attention whatsoever.

Over the last few days, Alden had repeatedly trained to regain control over his abilities. He practiced activating Spirit Domain and the other abilities he considered essential again and again.

Unlike before, there was no Status Window to bridge the gap between intention and execution. So everything depended entirely on him now.

And although it demanded intense concentration and remained frustratingly difficult, he had finally succeeded in activating them consistently just yesterday.

He focused his senses on the dragons as their voices imdiately entered his ears.

"For the daughter of our Queen to be defeated so pathetically, you truly are the sha of Vael’Zyre, Aemirya."

The voice belonged to the orange dragon.

"Not to ntion how you disqualified my brother using your vile tricks!"

The dragon’s voice was so powerful that it made Alden’s ears ache and even without Spirit Domain, he was sure that he would have had no trouble hearing it.

But Alden’s attention wasn’t on the dragon’s accusations because he recognized and understood the language.

It wasn’t so foreign tongue. If it had been one, he wouldn’t have understood a single word. The System was gone and there was nothing left to automatically translate languages for him.

Which ant...

This was the language of Eryndor ane not a translation.

So... I’m still in Eryndor.

But then...

Why is everything so different?

Since when are there three suns in the sky?

The thought left him even more confused than before. So he listened carefully, hoping to learn sothing else but unfortunately, there was no further conversation.

Instead the white dragon moved first, its massive body shrinking rapidly before transforming into a humanoid figure.

A woman.

Long white hair flowed behind her with a single horn coming out of her head as she lunged toward the orange dragon, a sword materializing in her hand.

"You talk too much!"

The orange dragon imdiately moved to defend but Alden barely cared because sothing else was even more shocking than the attack itself.

His eyes widened even further.

That woman...

He knew her because he had t her before in the Flux Dungeon and suddenly the Dragons, the dinosaurs, the three suns and everything else made sense.

He hadn’t been transported to a different world...

... he had been transported to a different era altogether.
