...
A young man with blonde hair, wearing a suit casually let out a deep breath.
His breath was pungent, and it was accompanied by smoke.
But, the man was handso.
A nice jawline, a chiseled body, a perfect nose for soone of his type, and he was also blonde. He wore a suit, one that only added to his natural charm.
"When will the new shipnt arrive?"
He questioned.
The man he was talking to, a middle-aged man with a round belly quickly answered.
"You'll have them delivered by this evening, sire."
The man quickly answered.
His tone was filled with respect, it was clear that he greatly admired the man in front of him.
Though, there wasn't much to admire about such a figure that had gone far past his pri.
"You better not be late. Or else."
The blonde man said before walking away.
"Of course not... Lord Arthur."
His words were quiet, almost as if he was speaking to himself.
But the blonde man caught it and a slight grin ford at his lips.
In front of the man was a black limousine, and he wasted no ti in entering it.
"Drop off at the cetery."
Arthur ordered as he entered it, quickly shutting the door behind him.
The butler in drive did a quick nod before starting the engine.
The roads were well-paved, nurous structures that extended high into the sky were also present. And there were always people on the street, so talking and so hurriedly going in their destinations.
It was a long drive and the blonde man was beyond bored when they finally arrived.
He slowly opened the door before getting out.
"Pick up in so hours, either that or I'll co ho myself."
The limousine left.
The man cracked his knuckles as he walked, the white robe that he wore on top trailing behind him.
He passed by several graves, each of them engraved with the na of several people.
The man continued walking until he ca across a particular one, one that the stone with the engraved na was done off.
The man stared at it for a brief mont before smirking widely.
"How are you? ."
He questioned while staring at the stone.
"Its been a while since I died, huh?"
He asked no one in particular.
"To be fair, this body is a lot better than our forr one, it couldn't really do as much as this one."
He chuckled to himself.
"To think I managed to get the body of the war hero, the body flicker, the versatile mage and the forbidden magic maker.
Now, I can do things we couldn't even think of before."
This wasn't his body.
The inhabitant of the body had been locked away to never appear again, making sure his soul would never co out until he was done with this body.
It had been sealed off from anything that could potentially disturb it and thus prompt its reawakening.
And to be honest, this body was a lot better than his forr.
"Souls... Never play with the concept of souls, otherwise, you might just end up getting taken over."
Suddenly, sothing happened.
Two souls crashed into each other. One was stationary and the other was moving.
The result was a spatial explosion.
Both souls weren't spared from the brunt of their collision and subsequently decreased.
The first soul inhabiting the body vanished, ceasing to exist.
The second soul had significantly diminished, but, it was still there.
It broke the shackles holding back the third soul; the soul belonging to the original owner of the body to take absolute control of the soul...
Only to be devoured.
"Where am I?"
He questioned, his eyes roaming around the cetery.
To the man it felt familiar, yet it felt unfamiliar.
Suddenly, he held his head in pain, feeling an unbearable amount of information entering his brain.
Even for soone of his caliber it was too much to handle.
mories... A life as Johnny Carter, an average family. The boy was obsessed with a ga, a mix of LitRpg and VR.
A ga where the main character went through the storyline, consequently changing it with every action.
"Why.. why am I here?"
The ga...
He was a character in the ga.
A professor at the highest of all the magic academies.
As a secret boss, a hard one at that.
From all the players that challenged him only a small fraction actually managed to beat him; the boss with too many titles under his belt: Versatile mage, Body flicker, the War hero, the forbidden magic maker.
He was said to be a hard boss, a forr destruction ranked mage. Yet, despite his rank and his skills he was defeated by a draconic being, the main character, that is.
"Fuck."
He cursed as the wave of mories finally finished, going all the way to the boy's death.
He had died in a bank robbery while trying to be a hero.
The man, Arthur, fell onto his butt as he struggled to process all the information.
"Who am I?"
He questioned, finding the question held much aning to him.
"A man from two worlds?"
He couldn't continue the thought while keeping his sanity so he left it at that.
"Is this a joke?"
He questioned.
"Maybe I'm being..."
The wave of mories certainly weren't a joke.
Arthur let out a sigh as his hands went into his pockets, bringing out a familiar set of spectacles.
"Year 2028?"
That didn't seem right.
"Wasn't it Year 2025 yesterday?"
He was perplexed.
To him yesterday was his coronation ceremony, a month after the war had finally ended with their win.
And that day was when he asked to beco a professor.
He brushed his hand against his chin.
"A beard?!"
He didn't have a beard yesterday, he was sure of that.
"Black magic?"
That was the forbidden arts.
Even though he was known as the forbidden magic maker he didn't dare to mingle in that branch of magic.
"I'm confused."
What was happening now conflicted with what he rembered last. With everything that had happened recently this just made things more complicated for him.
"Where am I?"
He tried to call up the last mory of his, the last thing he rembered aside from the coronation ceremony.
A wave of sadness washed over him as he rembered.
"So..."
"The world has really moved on, huh?"
He stood up and walked away, going out of the cetery.
'I need to leave this place.'
'Find answers... reasons, why ti is...'
He thought as he moved forward.
His sharp blue eyes saw sothing.
"A limousine."
He murmured, moving forward with much more vigor than before.
The window of the car was wind down as he approached.
"Isn't that...?"
"Sir, the ceremony is about to start!"
'What ceremony?!'
