Xu Wu said on the phone that there was sothing happening at ho that required both Li Xianglu and Qin Xi to return. At this, Li Xianglu first froze, then anxiously asked, "What happened?"

Hesitating for a mont, Xu Wu said, "I’ve already called Brother Qin. Brother Qin’s father is suspected of purchasing faulty dical equipnt that caused a patient’s death and has been detained by the Public Security Bureau."

Li Xianglu frowned, how could this be possible, that a problem with dical equipnt could lead to soone’s death? After a mont of silence, she said, "Okay, I understand. I have to hang up, I need to inform Grandpa."

Just as Li Xianglu was about to discuss with the elder, Qin Xi hurriedly returned from outside, looking tense with a bit of shortness of breath. Seeing Li Xianglu, she quickly approached and said, "We need to go back."

Li Xianglu took out a handkerchief to help wipe the sweat off and said, "I know already. I was just on the phone with Xu Wu; he told ."

Qin Xi took the handkerchief, quickly wiped off the sweat, then led Li Xianglu into the house.

The elder had already picked up from the phone conversation that there was trouble in the capital, and seeing Qin Xi return as well, he knew it must be sothing serious, so both sat solemnly waiting for news.

The two children, seeing the adults in the house all like this, didn’t dare to run around; they sat down quietly too. But Li Xianglu felt that the two kids were just too clever, understanding half of what the adults said, so she promptly sent them to the kitchen for Sister Su to watch over.

It was only after Qin Xi had taken a sip of water that she said, "The problem was with the ECG machine; the patient was electrocuted on the spot, and the patient’s family reported it directly to the Public Security. They said Dad, as the hospital director, bought the equipnt, so he should be fully responsible."

Li Xianglu couldn’t help but widen her eyes, electrocuted to death during an ECG, what kind of crappy equipnt is that.

Qin Xi continued, "The incident happened yesterday afternoon. He is now at the city Public Security Bureau. I’ve already made contact with the military here; there’s a cargo flight tonight, we will rush back overnight."

Li Xianglu nodded, then stood up to call the bank manager to ask for leave. The children also couldn’t go to kindergarten; she had to inform Zhu Hong, to help look after the house; she wouldn’t be at ease with just Sister Su around, as Hu Zi was most likely at the factory.

Li Xianglu was very busy because there were a lot of things at ho that needed to be put into the Storage Ring; it was getting cold and they couldn’t carry all the kids’ clothes, but she also worried that they wouldn’t have any to change into back ho, so she needed to pack more.

There were also the useful docunts and papers of Qin Xi that needed to be safeguarded against theft or intrusion, Li Xianglu waved her hand, taking them all away.

Neither Su Yan nor the elder got airsick, and neither did Li Xianglu and Qin Xi, but the two little ones had never been on a plane. So, in the evening, Li Xianglu didn’t feed the children too much; each had a bowl of porridge before being carried onto the car.

The two children, seeing both parents, their great-grandfather, great-grandmother, and two large boxes of things, thought they were embarking on a long journey and were thrilled. Both children in the back seat kept tapping the car window, faces full of excitent.

Qin Xi drove, because after the matter was resolved, he and Li Xianglu had to return to work in the county; leaving the car at the military base would an they could take it to the eting later.

After more than an hour’s drive, they arrived at the military airfield, and to their surprise, Li Jianqing and a military vehicle were waiting there. Upon eting, Li Jianqing looked worried, "Is Uncle okay?"

Qin Xi patted his shoulder and said, "He’s fine, don’t worry."

Li Jianqing didn’t ask more, just helped to escort them inside the airport, and then onto the helicopter. The children had seen airplanes in books and were super excited, eyes wide open with amazent.

In this military transport plane carrying military supplies, only a few people could sit in the cockpit area.

As military planes are much faster than regular passenger jets, as soon as everyone was on board, they fastened their seatbelts, and Li Xianglu and Qin Xi each held a child, then strapped themselves in together.

The children were overtaken with excitent, looking around everywhere. Because of the good teaching from Su Yan, they didn’t touch anything with their hands.

The propellers of the airplane’s nose began to spin, making a buzzing sound. Li Xianglu was worried that the children would cry and scream, but they were so happy they were nearly clapping and cheering.

Li Xianglu couldn’t help but feel a bit helpless, and after a short glide, the plane took off with a thunderous roar. The children blinked curiously as they experienced the montary weightlessness, then they laughed out loud, leaving Li Xianglu speechless, impressed that they weren’t airsick at all.
