Li Xianglu hurriedly recounted the whole story, and Grandpa Li frowned, sowhat puzzled, while Mr. Xun beside him said with interest, "This seems to have been designed in advance. Li Xianglu’s face turned pale. What would have happened? She had seen the state Qin Zhen was in, panicking with no idea what to do. At the hospital, people from both parties were standing face to face. The original seven or eight persons had dwindled to three because a nurse had co out halfway and upon inquiry, learning that the injury was not serious and that an IV would suffice for discharge, a few people had left.
And that woman was still waiting fiercely for the Qin brothers. Normally, Qin Zhen would have made a huge fuss by now, but today such a serious incident had occurred, and he had almost beco a murderer—as his brother had just analyzed for him.

The light in the operating room went out, and the door was opened. Nurses and doctors ca out, pushing the patient. The Yu Family mbers all crowded around. Yu Wei had already regained consciousness, still groggy from the anesthesia, as the woman began to wail loudly.
The doctor, a serious-looking man in his forties, chided upon hearing the crying, "The patient needs to rest!"
The woman imdiately quieted down, covering her mouth and shedding tears of grievance. Her dislike for the Qin brothers intensified.
They pushed the patient downstairs and into a ward. The doctor took out a notebook and began to write, the Yu Family mbers not daring to speak.
After finishing writing, the doctor said coldly, "The heart and lungs were not injured, thankfully the bleeding was stopped in ti, and the surgery was very successful. He can be discharged in a week. In the anti, make so light, easy-to-digest als for the patient." After saying that, he turned to the Qin brothers, "It’s a stab wound. Both parties will need to give a statent; the police will co shortly."
Qin Xi nodded and walked the doctor to the door before whispering, "Excuse , doctor, could you please call Doctor Qin Shouren for ? I’m his son."
The doctor looked surprised, gave him a thorough once-over, and indeed saw the resemblance. He nodded, "Alright, I’ll pass the ssage for you."
Back in the ward, the Yu Family was already huddled around Yu Wei, offering warmth and concern. The anesthesia hadn’t yet worn off, so Yu Wei felt only a bit of pain. Seeing Qin Xi, he smiled gratefully, "Thank you, Brother Qin, for bringing here, or I would have been in a sorry state."
The three people from the Yu Family looked sowhat embarrassed, while the woman was outright furious, "If it weren’t for them asking Wei Wei to go skating, how could such an incident have happened! Why did they bring Wei Wei here if not for fear that they would be held responsible if anything happened to him! Hmph, pretending to be good Samaritans!"
Qin Zhen was so angry that his fists clenched, wishing he could go up and punch the woman.
Qin Xi shook his head and stepped forward, "Yu Wei, do you rember who hurt you at the ti? Do you recall anything?"
Yu Wei nodded, "It was a short man. He ca out of nowhere and stabbed . There were people all around , but I couldn’t dodge in ti, and then I got stabbed."
Qin Xi nodded too, relieved that the situation was advantageous for his brother. anwhile, the girl next to him was pouting and looking disdainful as she humd.
Yu Wei heard her and said apologetically, "Brother Qin, I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. It was my friend who asked to go see what was happening, and that’s how things turned bad. If I hadn’t asked Qin Zhen to go ice skating, none of this would’ve happened."
Hearing her nephew putting all the bla on himself, Yu Xiaolan imdiately voiced her discontent, "Weiwei, what are you afraid of? Your aunt will take care of you!" It sounded as though Yu Wei was taking all the bla because he was afraid of soone.
Just then, footsteps were heard at the door, and Qin Shouren entered the ward, his face tense.
Qin Xi was about to speak when he saw his father, but he overheard Yu Xiaolan say, "Brother Qin, why are you here? Did you hear my nephew was hospitalized? You’re so considerate."
Qin Xi and Qin Zhen stood there without a word, coldly watching the woman monopolizing their father.
Qin Shouren glanced at the woman and after a mont’s hesitation said, "Oh, you’re Yu Xiaolan. What are you doing here?"
Startled, Yu Xiaolan replied, "Aren’t you here to visit my nephew?"
Qin Shouren shook his head and looked at Qin Xi, while Qin Zhen pulled a crying tone, "Dad, why did you co so late? Just now this auntie accused of being a murderer, and your son was almost taken away by the police." And with that, he cast a aningful glance at Yu Xiaolan.
Everyone’s eyes were on the father and son, with Yu Xiaolan’s face changing colors. She had heard that Doctor Qin had two sons; the elder was married, and the younger was studying in Shanghai. She never imagined that this Qin Zhen was from the sa family; then, the elder must be his big brother?
Qin Xi smiled, "Dad, did Doctor Wang send you a ssage?"
Qin Shouren nodded, "What happened? Why did you co to the hospital? Is Xiangxiang okay? Nothing’s wrong with her, I hope?"
His sons often went out together, and it was odd that his daughter-in-law wasn’t here, so of course he had to ask.
Qin Xi said, "Xiangxiang just happened to have Dian Nan Bai dicine with her and perford first aid on Yu Wei. She was covered in blood, so I told her to go back ho."
Qin Zhen looked at his brother, thinking they were supposed to go back to cook for Grandpa Li, but when he saw the guilt on the Yu Family’s faces, he instantly understood his brother’s intentions and felt that his Great Demon King brother was really impressive.

Qin Shouren was also inford of the incident, filled with bewildernt. What was the other party trying to do? If it weren’t for the eldest being there, the younger brother might have ended up in legal trouble today.
Yu Xiaolan was practically going crazy on the side. If she had known earlier, she wouldn’t have treated the Qin brothers that way. Qin Shouren was the best match she had ever dated – handso, nice personality, highly educated, high salary, simply flawless. But now, just thinking about Qin Zhen made her feel utterly suffocated.
