Chapter 785: Chapter 202-Reece – Prepped For Surgery Part 2 (VOLU 4)

I was led out of the room that my Little Bunny and I had been in for the past week. A nurse was taking to another part of the labor and delivery floor that I had never been to. This was a place with sinks to wash up and scrubs to change into.
“Here, Mr. Gray, I need you to wash your hands and arms up to the elbows thoroughly. Then put these on.” She set a pair of white scrubs down that I hoped would fit properly. “They go over top of your clothes. These booties go over your shoes. And please, place this over your hair. When you are done, you will wash your hands once more and place this mask over your mouth and nose. At that point you will be fully prepared for the operating room and you can join your wife in the delivery room.”
The nurse was slightly older and seed to be a little on the bossy side. Not to ntion that I rembered her having been here for the delivery of Reagan and Rika as well as Talia. I guess that she was going to be here for all of my children and their deliveries. That was a little odd, but in a way, it was also sort of comforting. It ant that there was consistency. And all of the deliveries have been smooth and successful so far, so let’s not ss with consistency here.
I had to interrupt her a little bit here. There was a lot of stuff that she wanted to do before I could see my Little Bunny again. And to be honest, it wasn’t that necessary. I an, we were werewolves. We were used to being out in the height of nature and all that stuff. So, I just didn’t see why I needed to wash so many tis and look like a marshmallow.

“Look, Ma’am, I don’t think..-” I started to tell her what was on my mind but she interrupted .
“Pala.” She cut off and snapped at . “My na is Nurse Pala June Adders. Do not call Ma’am or Miss or anything like that. I would prefer to be called by na, if you wouldn’t mind. And do not tell that you don’t know my na, I have been helping to take care of your wife four out of the last seven days. The least you can do is rember my na, Mr. Gray. And on top of that, I was there when all three of your other children were born. I would appreciate it if you stopped thinking about as nothing more than just a background image and rember my na at the very least.”
I will admit that I had been treating her exactly as she had said. I hadn’t really paid attention to her na at all. I hadn’t really paid attention to any of the nurses. I had been way more focused on my wife and her condition and all the things that had to do with her and my family. I hadn’t been focused on the staff here at the hospital at all.
I bet that Trinity knew them though. I bet that she was familiar with them all. She was like that. She paid attention to the people around her. She focused on everyone and made them feel important. She was good at those types of things. I hadn’t even thought about it at all. I guess that I had actually been a bit of an ass about it.
“Alright, I am sorry Nurse Pala. You are right. I hadn’t paid attention to your na. I hadn’t even thought about it. If it makes you feel any better though, I do recognize you and know that you were there through this week as well as when my other three children were born as well. I am not going to make excuses for myself because that would just be pointless. However, I am going to continue on with what I was going to say before.” I paused for a mont and the nurse started talking again.
“Well, at least you admit that part.” She laughed at . “And now, let guess, you think you are above the rules that I have laid out before you? You think that you can just skip them and head on into the operating room and see your wife. You think that you and your massive amount of wealth is enough to get you through this the way that you want to.”
“Well, it has absolutely nothing to do with my wealth. However, you are right in guessing that I want to skip a few of these steps. I think that they are unnecessary.” I gave her my best smile to let her know that I was serious and to help her understand that it was indeed not necessary for . I knew that she would understand it all completely. This was all a big unnecessary step that I didn’t need to busy myself with.
I started to step away from the sink and toward the door to the operating room that I saw on the opposite side of the room from . I was going to be with my wife. I was going to watch my babies be born. I was going to see them all very soon.
“Well, if you don’t want to follow the rules like everyone else, Mr. Gray, that is fine. It is entirely up to you, but I do think that your wife will have a problem with you not being there for the birth of your children. I an, she seems to be looking forward to you being there so much. I will be sure to pass along the ssage that you were simply too lazy to follow the hospital’s rules. Because trust , Mr. Gray, I don’t care how much money you have or how powerful you are, you are not entering that operating room without fully sterilizing yourself and following all of the rules that I have given you. If you are incapable of doing that, then I do not think that you are worthy of the right to see these beautiful babies be born. Only a real man knows that he needs to follow the rules and do what has to be done in order to get what he wants. I always hate being the bearer of bad news to won like this, but I will do what I need to do. It is what is required of after all.”
She was literally going to try and stop from going into that room if I didn’t do what she told to do. This tiny little human woman was going to try and stop ? She would literally try to stand between and my babies like that?
“I am not kidding, Mr. Gray. Either you comply with the rules, or I will call hospital security and have you removed from the floor. I will not risk the life of your wife or your babies because you are too stubborn to wash your damn hands. Make your choice now.” Nurse Pala crossed her arms and tapped her foot on the floor all while glaring at with a heated expression.
“Fine. You win. I will do as you ask.” I turned toward the sink and started washing my hands up to the elbows like I had been told to. I was glad that I had been wearing a t-shirt today. That was making it a lot easier for .
“Good. They always listen in the end.” She sounded triumphant. Who the hell was this woman? She had so mad skills and a lot of courage to be talking to like that. But, I an, I couldn’t let her call security on . I could take them and all, but that wouldn’t be good. And my Little Bunny would get really mad at if it ca to that. I had no choice but to listen to this woman. It was my only option.
I tried not to let it get to too much as I scrubbed myself up and then put on the white scrubs over top of my other clothes. The booties were put into place, the hair net thingy was put on, and the mask was in place. Then I obediently turned to wash my hands again as Griffin ca into the room.
“Oh, hey Reece. I thought you would be done before now. Oh well, we can go into the room together.” He seed to be completely oblivious of the fact that this evil little woman was staring down like she was so sort of beast.
“Y..yeah. Almost done. I just needed to get myself ready. I am not used to it so it took a while.” I didn’t let him know that I had been stubborn and needed Nurse Pala to threaten before I complied.
“No worries, Reece. We will go in together. As soon as we’re ready and Trinity is ready, we can begin. It won’t be long now. Soon, you will see your little boys.” Griffin was right. I didn’t need to worry about the fact that this woman had been so powerful and angry with . I had other things to worry about at the mont. My babies will be here soon. My three little boys that we have been waiting so long for will be here before I knew it. Soon, our little family was going to be much bigger. And, you know what? I was so very happy about that.
