"I’m off to school."
Chenchen humd lightly and walked past her.
Chongchong quickly grabbed the schoolbag next to her, "Wait, I’ll go with you."
When they reached the school, the two of them exchanged a glance and then headed to their respective buildings.
Perfectly in sync.
That’s how it was for the next two and a half years.
By now, Chongchong was in fourth grade.
Chenchen was in his third year of middle school, about to face the middle school exams.
Before the exams, the school gave the elentary students a holiday.
Because students from other schools would be coming to their school to take the exams, to provide a quiet environnt for the test-takers, the elentary school was closed for three days.
As soon as the teacher finished speaking, Chongchong imdiately rushed to the middle school section.
Chenchen’s Special Class — Third Year Class One had just finished school too.
"Brother Chenchen, you’re taking your middle school exam tomorrow?" Chongchong held his hand and looked up at him with her fair face.
Chenchen nodded, lowering his eyes to look at the little girl.
Compared to two years ago, she had grown a lot taller.
Although she still didn’t reach his chest, it was much better than before.
She still loved rabbits as always, and her new schoolbag was rabbit-shaped too.
She wore a European-style academy short-sleeve shirt, and her pleated skirt fluttered slightly in the breeze. She had white tights on her delicate legs, shiny doll shoes on her feet, and a ponytail that swayed with her movents.
"I’m on holiday tomorrow, so I’ll wait for you outside the exam hall, okay?" Chongchong smiled, showing her little milk teeth, and asked him.
Without thinking, Chenchen shook his head, "No."
"Why not?" Chongchong puffed her cheeks, dissatisfied and puzzled.
"It’s too hot."
Even though it was only mid-June, the sun was already scorching, no less than the height of sumr.
If she really waited outside while he took his exam, she might get a heat stroke.
Realizing what he was concerned about, Chongchong couldn’t help but laugh, "Brother Chenchen, you’re so silly. I didn’t say I’d wait for you in the sun. I can sit in an air-conditioned milk tea shop!"

She made a good point.
But still no!
"Don’t forget you’re still a celebrity. Your appearance will drive countless fans crazy." Chenchen didn’t want to see any stampede incidents.
Chongchong quickly promised, "No problem, I can wrap myself up tightly, they absolutely won’t recognize ! Besides, I haven’t acted much these past two years, my popularity has cooled down, so there shouldn’t be any issues!"
Seeing her so insistent, Chenchen could only shrug, "Suit yourself then."
Holding his hand, Chongchong continued as they walked, "Brother Chenchen, do well in your exam, and I’ll give you a reward when it’s over."
"What kind of reward?" Chenchen’s stern face showed a hint of confusion.
"It’s a secret for now!" Chongchong gave him a mysterious look.
Seeing her expression, Chenchen sohow had a bad feeling.
It was like that gift was going to surprise him greatly.
He shook his head, trying to clear the random thoughts from his mind.
The next day.
The middle school exams officially began.
Chongchong and Chenchen arrived at the exam hall together.
To avoid being recognized by fans, Chongchong wore a Maruko-chan hat, children’s sunglasses, and a blue mask, wrapped up very securely.
A bodyguard followed behind her.
