In the quiet of the night, these two words seed especially loud.

Jiang Yibai was montarily stunned, his eyes showing a mix of surprise and complexity as he looked at him. But soon, he realized why Gu Zhihan was thanking him.

After a mont of silence, he said, "No need to thank , I just didn’t want you to miss out on each other over so misunderstandings, that would be truly regrettable."

After finishing, he seed to rember sothing suddenly and asked, "By the way, you’re not going to give up on treating Sanbao, are you?"

"Of course not!" Gu Zhihan replied without hesitation.

Though he had hesitated, he had never thought of giving up on Sanbao.

After all, it was a small life, how could they not try their hardest before giving up?

"That’s good." Jiang Yibai seed to have anticipated this answer, he smiled and then turned to walk outside, "Have a good rest tonight, I won’t disturb you anymore."

As his words fell, he had already stepped outside.

Though he maintained a generous deanor throughout, his eyes were filled with gloom.

He had personally pushed the woman he liked into the arms of another man...

It felt terribly painful at the bottom of his heart.

Jiang Yibai, with his head down, his handso face intermittently illuminated.

"ow ow!"

At that mont, Cheng Suisui suddenly ran over, shaking her tail silently at him.

If only he had known today, why did he do it in the first place!

Upon hearing her voice, Jiang Yibai imdiately lifted her and said while looking at her, "But I don’t regret doing it."

Because only by staying by Gu Zhihan’s side would Luo ngng be truly happy.

Cheng Suisui: "..."

Alright, everything you did was right, wasn’t it?

In the bedroom.

Gu Zhihan stared at ngng for a long ti.

They had only been apart for several hours, yet to him, it felt like a whole century had passed, his heart throbbing violently, a joy of regained love spreading continuously.

How wonderful.

Then, Gu Zhihan lowered his head and gently kissed her lips.

During the kiss, he saw her thick eyelashes flutter slightly and soon after, she sleepily opened her eyes.

Upon seeing him, she was montarily stunned, "Gu Zhihan?"

Gu Zhihan was about to respond when he saw the young girl suddenly shaking her head frantically.

"He can’t be here, I must be dreaming again..."

After saying this, she turned over and continued to sleep.

But Gu Zhihan felt a pang in his heart.

Was she dreaming about him now?

You fool!

"You clearly love so much, yet you ran away, how should I punish you?" Gu Zhihan spoke in a deep, magnetic voice, while he lightly stroked her delicate, sculpted nose.

"..."

However, the sleeping ngng couldn’t respond to his question.

"Let’s settle it with a lifeti." Gu Zhihan continued.

"..."

"If you don’t speak, I’ll take your silence as consent." Gu Zhihan held her and slid under the covers with her.

Poor ngng had no idea she had been tricked again.

Early morning.

The first rays of sunlight slipped through the gaps in the curtains and fell on the large bed in the room.

At this mont, a man and a woman were sleeping in each other’s arms.

The man was stunningly handso; the woman, petite and beautiful—a match truly made in heaven.

Because Gu Zhihan had stayed up very late the night before, he didn’t wake up early in the morning; instead, it was ngng who woke up first.

When she opened her eyes and saw Gu Zhihan, she gasped in astonishnt.

"How could he be here?"

ngng couldn’t help but mutter to herself.
