The mont they turned their heads, Luo ngng and the others saw Tong Mo standing not far away, waving at everyone.

She yelled as she sprinted towards ngng and her friends.
People around them all looked at her as if she were a fool.
Feeling embarrassed, ngng and the others quickly turned their heads away, pretending they didn’t know this idiot.
“Hey hey hey, are you not happy to see ? Why are you all turning your heads away?” Tong Mo rolled her eyes at them, clearly annoyed.
Lu Zichen retorted, “That’s because you’re too stupid.”
“If you can’t speak properly, then shut up!” Tong Mo was about to explode with anger because of his mouth.
“Stop fighting, stop fighting.” Luo ngng hurriedly stepped in to diate, looking Tong Mo up and down with a pair of clear eyes, and asked with concern, “Chun Mo, why didn’t you co to take the Gaokao this morning?”
“Yeah, why weren’t you at the exam? Where did you disappear to?” Lu Zichen followed up imdiately, sounding quite harsh, but his eyes were full of worry.
“I…” ntioning this, Tong Mo hesitated for a mont, organized her thoughts, and then said, “Actually, I missed the Gaokao because I was saving soone.”
“Saving soone?” Upon hearing this, Luo ngng raised her voice in confusion, looking at her with a puzzled expression, “Who did you save?”
“Just a person I know well.” Tong Mo’s gaze drifted, and she still didn’t fully explain.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to say, but she realized that her understanding of “Li Zijue” was too limited; even now, she only knew his na and profession, nothing more.
Even if she wanted to, she couldn’t explain it clearly.
However, Lu Zichen guessed, “Is it that man from the other night?”
He was referring to Li Zijue, who had picked up Tong Mo after they had all gotten drunk that ti.
“What man?” Now Luo ngng beca curious, staring at Tong Mo.
Tong Mo’s cheeks flushed, and then she said, “Just a friend of mine.”
“Boyfriend?” Luo ngng couldn’t resist gossiping a little.

She and Uncle Duck were purely friends, and it had nothing to do with having a boyfriend!
Seeing her denial, Lu Zichen inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief, but his mouth was still venomous, “Good thing your taste isn’t that bad.”

“Chun Mo, are you going to retake the exam?” Luo ngng asked her at that mont.
If this were just a regular test, then retaking it might not matter much, but this was the Gaokao!
An exam that could determine one’s fate!
“That…” Tong Mo thought for a mont and then shook her head in resignation, “Forget it, even if I could score a perfect mark in Chinese, I wouldn’t be able to get into university.”
Her grades were simply too horrendous.
What difference would retaking it make?
She still wouldn’t be able to get into any decent university.
“But…” Luo ngng was about to persuade her when Tong Mo interrupted.
Tong Mo reassured her with a smile, “Don’t worry about , I’ve already made up my mind. I’m not going to university.”
“What?”
Upon hearing this, everyone turned to look at her in unison.
“Not going to university, then what do you plan to do?” Lu Zichen frowned, surprised that she would have such a thought.
