"Don’t look at it yet, wait until your eyes are better before you read," Gu Zhihan said as he approached the little girl who was reading at the table.
"I’ll listen to you!"
Upon hearing this, Luo ngng imdiately put down the book, and just as she was about to reach for the warm egg to apply it to her eyes, she heard him say, "Don’t move, I’ll do it for you."
"Oh..." ngng obediently closed her eyes.
Gu Zhihan took another step forward and placed the warm egg on the little girl’s swollen eyes, rotating it in circles while his hands massaged the acupuncture points around her eyes.
The comfort from such a massage was indescribable.
Even Luo ngng started to feel sleepy...
After massaging for nearly half an hour, Gu Zhihan saw that the egg in his hand had started to cool down, so he retracted his hand and gently called out to the little girl, "ngng, it’s done."

Her response was the girl’s adorable snoring.

After taking a deep breath, he took a few steps towards his bed with her in his arms.
Ever since they got engaged, Luo ngng’s parents didn’t mind ngng staying over at his house at all.
After bringing the little girl to bed, Gu Zhihan removed her shoes and socks, then fetched a towel from the bathroom to wipe her face and feet, before finally tucking her into a comfortable position and covering her with a blanket.
Then, he climbed into bed himself and brought her into his embrace to sleep together.
"Xiongxiong..."
Sleepy and muddled, Luo ngng wrapped around him like an octopus, rubbing her legs against him, thinking he was the big bear from her own bed.
This was quite the ordeal for Gu Zhihan, in the pri of his youth.
There was a mont when he genuinely wanted to flip her beneath him and just do it.
But rembering that the college entrance exam was just a month away, he couldn’t afford to waste all his efforts and had to keep enduring...
The next day, Luo ngng got out of bed feeling refreshed and clear-headed.
But when she turned her head, she saw Gu Zhihan with dark circles under his eyes, full of red blood vessels.

After breakfast, Gu Zhihan drove ngng towards the school.

Soon, the second mock exam began.
However, Luo ngng still didn’t do well.
The third mock, the fourth mock. She still didn’t do well.
By the ti the last, fifth mock ca around, she hadn’t done well again!
