Wu Qiaoqiao glanced at Luo ngng and flashed a feigned smile, “No need to thank for what just happened.”
She was referring to the incident where she had spoken up for her.
Luo ngng, arms crossed, responded indifferently, “I never intended to thank you.”
The implication was clear: she was being presumptuous.
She had never asked her to speak on her behalf.

None of them knew what the test was, yet soone had already passed?

Unable to contain herself, Wu Qiaoqiao was the first to ask, “Gu Zhihan, who passed your test?”
“Yeah, who was it?”
“I want to see who it is.”
The other girls rapidly fired questions.
Gu Zhihan smiled briefly, then walked straight up to Luo ngng, and with his slender, fair hand, gently patted her head, “It was Luo ngng who passed the test and has beco my assistant.”
“How is that possible!”
Wu Qiaoqiao and the other girls were instantly stunned; Luo ngng had done nothing just like them, so why was it her?
Unable to hold back, soone asked, “Gu Zhihan, are you covering for her?”
“Yeah, I think so too!”
“I now suspect that you never set up any test at all, just threw out a decoy.”
“Gu Zhihan, as the student council president, doing sothing like this is too much!”
“Exactly!”
“Unless you give us a reason, we won’t accept this test!”
The girls were united, all looking at Gu Zhihan with great unwillingness.
“A reason, you say?” Gu Zhihan, holding his patience, glanced at them and then imdiately took Luo ngng’s small hand, prying open her fingers to show a ball of tissue in her palm, “This was the test I set for you all!”
“What can a piece of tissue prove?” one girl said dismissively.
“How can it not prove anything?” Gu Zhihan responded emphatically, “I deliberately threw this tissue in the corner to see who would be attentive enough to pick it up first.”
“Many of you saw this piece of trash, but ignored it. No one picked it up; only Luo ngng did.” His surveillance had clearly captured their reactions.
“This shows she is very careful, has a sense of public decency, and well-mannered; only such a person is suitable to be my assistant!”
Gu Zhihan’s words were forceful and compelling, causing the girls’ faces to burn with embarrassnt.
So the test he had set was indeed about picking up trash!
Ironically, they had laughed at Luo ngng for picking it up earlier…
Now all the girls felt utterly convinced by their defeat.
