“Okay, class dismissed.” The chemistry teacher said and walked out with his books.
During the lunch break, Luo ngng poked Gu Zhihan, “Are you going to the chemistry lab later?”
“Yes.” Gu Zhihan, who was about to leave with his books, saw a longing on her face and couldn’t help but ask, “Do you want to go too?”

When they arrived at Laboratory 2, ngng couldn’t help but ask excitedly, “What experint are you going to do first?”
Although chemistry was difficult and dry, the chemistry experints were very interesting, so ngng was super excited.
As Gu Zhihan prepared the materials for the upcoming experint, he answered her question, “I’ll do the experints suggested in the book one by one.”
“Okay!” ngng moved a small stool and sat in front of him, watching him conduct the experints.
Gu Zhihan had already put on safety goggles and started the experintal procedures.
Luo ngng watched him handle a few reagents and managed to create both fire and snow, which amazed her beyond words.
“You are so amazing…” The little girl’s eyes widened with astonishnt, as if she had discovered a new world.
“Idiot, these are just basic experints, okay?” Gu Zhihan rolled his eyes at her and continued with his experint.
Luo ngng touched her nose and then turned to watch Jiang Yibai’s experint nearby.
He was conducting the sa experints as Gu Zhihan.
Feeling soone watching him, Jiang Yibai quickly looked to find the source of the gaze. When he realized it was ngng, his sunny handso face broke into a smile, “ngng, let show you sothing!”
“What is it?”
Luo ngng tilted her head, looking puzzled.
“You’ll find out soon.” Jiang Yibai smiled mysteriously, then used a spirit lamp to lt solid lead iodide, and then he began shaking the bottle after it was poured inside.
Initially, Luo ngng didn’t understand what he was doing, but soon she saw the liquid in the conical flask turning yellow and crystals forming. As more and more crystals appeared, the entire bottle glittered like a grand shower of gold.
“Is it beautiful?”
“Beautiful, beautiful!” Luo ngng nodded eagerly, moved her stool closer to him, and asked curiously, “How did you do that!”
“This experint is called the ‘golden rain’; it’s very simple. It involves using…” Jiang Yibai’s smile was softer as he was about to explain the chemistry behind it, when Gu Zhihan spoke up first.
“It’s just a little trick with lead iodide, is it that astonishing?” Gu Zhihan said coldly, pulling the girl back as he spoke.
He had just finished his experint and noticed she was missing; he thought she had gone back to the classroom, only to turn around and find her praising his rival.
Luo ngng sensed he was upset and replied in agreent, “Not astonishing, not astonishing…”
Oh, speaking against her heart really hurt!
“Humph!” Gu Zhihan heard her tone and knew she was just placating him, so he firmly placed her back on the seat, “I’ll do a prettier experint for you.”
After saying that, he put on his safety goggles again and started to look for chemical reagents.
“What are you going to do?” ngng stretched her little head and stared at him.
