Chapter 341: Chapter 341: What If There’s Still a Miracle?
“It should still be our class 30,” Zhuo Wen answered her.
“That’s great, that’s great…” Tong Mo nodded, her mind swiftly settling on a decision.
She still wanted to stay in class 30!
That way, she could at least see the class teacher every day!
“You’re not thinking of staying in class 30, are you?” Luo ngng, biting on her pen, saw through her thoughts.
Tong Mo nodded, “Exactly, whichever class the teacher teaches, I want to be in that class!”
Except for the special class, it was easy to switch any regular class as long as you found the right connections, and she planned to stay in the sa class as Zhuo Wen for the next three years.
“Alright then…” Since she was determined, Luo ngng no longer insisted on persuading her to apply for the special class with her.
While Luo ngng was bowing her head to read, Tong Mo leaned in closer and asked, “Chun ng, how confident are you about getting into the special class now?”
“Er… not at all!” Luo ngng sighed dejectedly, put down her pen, and shrugged helplessly at her.
Her current grades ranked her just over three hundred in the year, while the special class only accepted the top fifty students, so she basically had no chance of getting in.
Tong Mo comforted her by patting her shoulder, comforting, “It’s okay, miracles might still happen!”
“Right! What if a miracle does happen! What if I perform exceptionally well then!” Luo ngng was instantaneously re-energized.
Just then, Lu Zichen threw a bucket of cold water on her enthusiasm, “ngng, it actually doesn’t matter even if you don’t get in. Later, I can pull so strings to keep us all in one class to continue having fun, wouldn’t that be nice?”
“But I want to be in the sa class as Gu Zhihan…” Luo ngng puffed up her rosy cheeks, her mouth slightly pouting.
“…”
Lu Zichen couldn’t help but grunt softly, muttering, “What’s so good about Gu Zhihan.”
“What did you say?” Luo ngng, seeing him mutter to himself, couldn’t help but ask curiously.
Lu Zichen dared not repeat those words in front of Luo ngng. He quickly waved his hands and gave an awkward laugh, “It’s nothing, it’s nothing.”
“Oh…” Just then, the bell rang for class, and Luo ngng didn’t pursue it any further, picking up her book to cram.
That evening, instead of running upstairs to wait for Gu Zhihan as she used to do after school, Luo ngng used what little ti she had to read in the classroom.
When Gu Zhihan arrived at their class, he saw the little girl in her blue and white school uniform sprawled across her desk full of books, pen in mouth, frowning at the test paper in front of her as if she had encountered a difficult problem.
“Which question is troubling you?”
Gu Zhihan, carrying his backpack, approached and directly sat next to her, leaning toward her slightly as his handso face ca close to her ear to ask.
Luo ngng’s earlobe tingled with his breath, and she blushed slightly, her fair fingers pointing at the last question on the test paper, and she sighed unhappily, “I can’t figure out this problem.”
“Let see…” Gu Zhihan rely glanced at it before casually picking up a pen, writing down the solution for her to see, “Actually, this question is very simple…”
Shhhhshhhshhh—
The classroom was filled only with the sound of his pen scratching against the paper and his magnetic voice explaining the solution.
Luo ngng listened especially attentively.
After Gu Zhihan finished, he tapped her on the head, “Got it now?”
“Uh… well… I…” Luo ngng suddenly began to stamr, “I still don’t quite get it.”
She had been utterly absorbed in the sound of his magnetic voice, not really hearing what he was explaining.
