Chapter 333: Chapter 333 Drama Performance 1
The thought of Xu Wenting’s face getting twisted with anger made Luo ngng want to laugh uncontrollably.
“Mischievous,” Gu Zhihan said with a slight curl of his lips, patting the girl’s head before imdiately turning to Xu Wenting, “I can stay and play the prince, but the script needs so changes.”
“No problem!” Xu Wenting agreed without a second thought.
As long as he could stay to play the prince, what harm could changing the script do?
But Xu Wenting had absolutely no idea that he would want the script to be changed into…
Gu Zhihan straightforwardly said, “Change the script so the prince is saving his sister.”
“Saving the princess carries strong romantic undertones. If I play that, it might appear to encourage puppy love, which isn’t conducive to the healthy developnt of students’ physical and ntal well-being. But if it’s changed to a sister, then it’s about family affection.”
“Exactly!” After he finished, Luo ngng imdiately nodded with a mischievous smile and, looking satisfied at Xu Wenting’s constipated expression, deliberately asked, “Classmate Xu, why do you look so pale? Don’t you agree with changing the script?”
“If you don’t agree, then forget it. Gu Zhihan, we…”
She hadn’t even finished the word “leave” when Xu Wenting hurriedly stopped them, “I didn’t say I disagree.”
Luo ngng, holding onto Gu Zhihan, stopped and turned to her, “So you agree?”
“Yes.” Xu Wenting nodded, enduring the pain that was bleeding her heart dry.
Luo ngng chuckled to herself and teased, “Then you ‘siblings’ better put on a good performance later.”
She emphasized the word “siblings” deliberately.
“Thanks for the reminder.” Xu Wenting almost cracked her molars in frustration and then, having thought of another wicked idea, took a deep breath and looked at the club president, “Cousin, let’s assign the other roles.”
“Alright…” The club president exchanged a glance with Xu Wenting before nodding and picking up the script to begin arranging roles for the club mbers.
Tong Mo as a bystander.
Jiang Yibai as a knight.
Lu Zichen and others as guards and background trees.
As for Luo ngng…
The club president’s eyes held a hint of malice as she looked at her, “You’ll play the evil bear guarding the princess.”
“Cousin, that doesn’t seem quite right. How can she, a girl, play a villain?” Xu Wenting, looking to show her graciousness in front of Gu Zhihan, quickly spoke up in Luo ngng’s defense.
The club president sighed as if helpless, “The role of the evil bear is the only one left.”
“Is that so…” Upon hearing this, Xu Wenting spread her hands helplessly and looked at Luo ngng with an apologetic gaze, “Sorry for the inconvenience, Luo ngng.”
Luo ngng shrugged, “It’s no big deal.”
What did it matter if she played a villain?
After all, it was just a play…
Xu Wenting thought she was just pretending not to care and felt a rush of vengeful satisfaction.
If she knew that Luo ngng truly didn’t care, she might just die of anger.
“Now that we have the cast settled, let’s start rehearsing and morizing lines,” Xu Wenting said as she flipped her long hair and spoke again.
“Alright…”
Everyone echoed in agreent.
During the rehearsal, Luo ngng just needed to stand by the cage holding the princess, roar a couple of tis, and thump her chest—that was it, no actual lines to speak.
“This Xu Wenting is just trying to embarrass you!” Tong Mo complained huffily.
In the entire play, even those playing background trees had a line or two, yet Luo ngng had none.
No lines were bad enough, but having to thump her chest like a gorilla was ridiculously undignified.
