Chapter 317: Chapter 317: Who Says I Have No Evidence

Tong Mo suddenly beca agitated, “What nonsense are you spouting! Tong Mo and I have been best friends for over a decade, I wouldn’t harm her even if it ant harming myself. Stop trying to drive a wedge between us!”

Actually, even without an explanation, ngng would have believed that Tong Mo wouldn’t do it.

So… it could only be…

Xu Wenting!

Xu Wenting saw everyone suddenly looking at her and quickly shook her head, her gentle and sweet voice tinged with a hint of grievance, “Why are you all looking at ? I don’t even know Luo ngng. If I were the one who did it, what would my motive be?”

Upon hearing her explanation, everyone imdiately stopped suspecting her.

After all, Xu Wenting said she did not know Luo ngng. Since they didn’t know each other, let alone have any grievances, it was unlikely that she had done it.

As for Tong Mo, being close friends with Luo ngng for over a decade made it even less likely that she would harm her.

So now there was only one explanation left — Luo ngng was lying!

Actually, she hadn’t folded her blanket into a neat square at all. The reason she said that was only because she was afraid of being punished by the instructor.

Thinking this, everyone’s gaze toward Luo ngng began to carry a hint of disdain.

Luo ngng, once again trying to defend herself, said, “I’m not lying, I really did fold…”

“Just because you say you folded it ans you did? Do you have any proof?”

“Exactly, without evidence, what are you even saying?”

“I think she didn’t fold it at all…”

While everyone was whispering among themselves, Luo ngng suddenly spoke up to interrupt them, “Who says I don’t have proof?”

“Where’s your proof then?” everyone waited for her to present it.

Even Luo Yu slightly raised his eyebrows, looking at his young niece, waiting for her to prove she wasn’t lying.

“Watch closely!” Under everyone’s questioning gazes, Luo ngng turned around, bent down, and picked up her floppy blanket, quickly folding it.

In less than a minute, she had the blanket neatly folded.

Then, turning back to the others under their puzzled looks, she declared emphatically, “This is my evidence!”

“If I can fold the blanket in less than a minute, then why would I not fold it earlier? Do you think I was looking forward to being punished by the instructor to do push-ups downstairs?”

“Am I an idiot?”

Every word she uttered was filled with angry accusations.

“This…”

Montarily, the girls in the dormitory were left speechless.

Exactly, if she could fold the blanket so quickly, how could she possibly not fold it.

So how did the blanket end up unfolded?

“Could it be that the blanket accidentally unfolded itself?” one of the girls ventured hesitantly.

Although the idea was a bit far-fetched, it was the only “reasonable” explanation left at the mont.

“Maybe.”

“Possibly!”

After so thought, everyone else seed to concur.

Luo Yu nodded slightly, “Alright, let’s leave it at that and continue with our routine studies and cleaning.”

He knew very well that his niece’s blanket had been tampered with intentionally, but alas, without any caras nearby to provide evidence, it was impossible to confirm who did it; the issue had to be left unresolved for now.

Tong Mo, however, was not satisfied, “Are we just going to let it go?”

Others might not know, but Tong Mo and Luo ngng were very certain that Xu Wenting was the one who tampered with the blanket.

As for her motive, that was even simpler — she liked Gu Zhihan, but Gu Zhihan liked ngng.

It was clearly just jealousy from a girl!

But these words couldn’t be said aloud. If Xu Wenting steadfastly denied it, it would be akin to falsely accusing soone. In the end, not only might they fail to bring her down, but they could also end up making a loss themselves.
