Gu’s mom didn’t co to et her calls; instead, Gu Zhihan opened the door. He, in his white ho clothes, stood in the corridor and eyebrow raised looked at his breathless girlfriend and asked gently, “Do you need sothing from my mom?”
“I do!”
Luo ngng said as she walked up to him.
“But they’re not ho, the hospital is too busy, and they can’t make it back these days.” Gu Zhihan raised his hand to embrace the young girl, chin resting on her head, and continued, “What’s the matter, tell about it.”
Luo ngng rested her head on his chest, pouting, “It’s no use telling you, you don’t have money either.”
“Who told you I don’t have money?” Gu Zhihan seed displeased, reached down to pinch the girl’s chin making her look him in the eyes. His dark eyes hinted that he might have guessed the situation already, “Is it that your parents temporarily can’t give you money?”
“How did you know?” Luo ngng looked at him in astonishnt.
Gu Zhihan watched her dumbstruck expression and couldn’t help but laugh, pinching her cheek, “Isn’t it written all over your face?”
“Then do you have money to lend ?” Luo ngng t his gaze, thinking of his recent statent, and inevitably asked.
“Yes,” Gu Zhihan nodded, followed by a shake of his head, adding, “But I won’t lend it!”
Upon hearing this, Luo ngng instantly flared up like a ruffled kitten, poking his chest, “How can you be so stingy, and I’m even your girlfriend!”
So frustrating!
“It’s precisely because you’re my girlfriend that I won’t lend it to you.” Gu Zhihan glanced at her puffed-up little face, chuckled lightly, and once more scooped her into his embrace, “Because I want to give it to you as a gift.”
