Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Stop Making Trouble
“Stop it,” Gu Zhihan’s face turned instantly red, like a cooked shrimp, and after gently pushing her away, he crouched down in front of her. His slender arms tightly hugged the little girl’s thin legs, lifting her up from the ground.
“Hurry up and pick.” His forehead was sweaty, and he spoke with so effort.
He had always known that the girl was heavy, but she was even more so than he had expected…
“Okay!” ngng nodded and reached out her “magic claws” towards the hanging grapes.
With Gu Zhihan acting as a human ladder, ngng easily grabbed the purple grapes hanging up high, then took out the round-headed safety scissors, and snipped bunches of grapes into the basket.
ngng picked and ate at the sa ti, after filling a basket and washing them collectively under the faucet, she began eating. After eating, she would continue picking.
After repeating this cycle a few tis, not only was Gu Zhihan, who was holding her to pick grapes, tired to the point of almost vomiting blood, but even a nearby farr was about to do the sa.
She was practically eating into his profits, wasn’t she?
It was hard to imagine how a five- or six-year-old girl could have such a big appetite!
Most importantly, before leaving the vineyard, ngng picked another two full baskets, carrying them on her shoulders as she walked out.

The little boy stepped forward, directly took the two baskets of grapes from her hands, and placed them in his arms to lighten her load.
“Because I knew my husband would help carry them!” ngng looked at his actions, showing an expression that said ‘I guessed as much’.
“Husband, to express my deep gratitude to you, I’ve decided…” ngng began, then suddenly stopped speaking and tiptoed, “to give you a kiss!”
As soon as the words fell, her little lips touched his before Gu Zhihan could react.
“However, just one kiss seems not enough to fully express the gratitude inside , let’s do it one more ti!”
Then, it was another big “smack”!
Gu Zhihan’s face kept burning up, his dark eyes clearly reflecting the scene of the little girl pouting and kissing him.
The September sun was blazing, but it was nothing compared to the heat of her lips.
“Who asked for your thanks.”
After a long pause, Gu Zhihan finally managed a few words, pushed her away, and walked towards the outside of the vineyard with a face that was both black and red.
If he had known earlier, he wouldn’t have helped her with the grapes!!
But in the end, he didn’t throw the two baskets of grapes back at the little girl to carry them herself.
Just as they left the vineyard, Teacher Tao ca over, smiling, and asked them, “ngng, Gu Zhihan, have you filled up with grapes?”
“Yes!” ngng nodded, pointing at the baskets in Gu Zhihan’s arms, and then patting her stomach, said, “Here, and here are both full.”
Teacher Tao couldn’t help but laugh and cry, “Alright, you guys hang around here for a bit, rember not to wander too far, and don’t forget to gather at the bamboo hut up front to have lunch together.”
“Okay.”
After speaking, ngng pulled Gu Zhihan to start walking around the farm stay.
The farm stay had not only orchards but also a variety of vegetable sheds, as well as mountains and rivers.
On the clear surface of the lake, fishern were calling out non-stop, sunlight sparkling on the water as if sprinkled with pearls, nearby, cows grazed on the grass.
It was indeed a picturesque scene.
However, there was a little one ready to spoil the mood…
“Husband, can we eat everything here at the farm stay?” ngng asked with her big eyes blinking.
“Technically, yes,” Gu Zhihan nodded, then added, “as long as you have the money to pay.”
“Can we eat those then?” ngng pointed at the cows grazing by the lake, licking her lips as if she could rush over and take a bite at any mont.
She had never tried beef before!!!
