Man, her mom was still as stingy as ever.
“I’ll send you to your grandparents’ place in the countryside, it’s scorching hot anyway, you can go there to cool off. Your dad and I will just stay at our place of work,” ngng’s mom decided outright.
“What about my husband?” ngng then asked.
ngng was more concerned about where Gu Zhihan would stay than about herself.
“Can he co with to grandma and grandpa’s place?” ngng looked at Gu’s mom sowhat pleadingly.
“Of course, he can!” Gu’s mom didn’t hesitate for a second before agreeing, her deanor so indulgent toward her daughter-in-law, it seed as if even if ngng asked Gu Zhihan to eat dirt, she wouldn’t have any complaints.
“That’s wonderful!” ngng was imdiately overjoyed, hopping and skipping around Gu Zhihan like a happy little sparrow.
“I refuse…”
Gu Zhihan, who had been silent all this while, finally couldn’t hold back.
