Li Mumu flipped open the notebook, and every page was filled with writing almost identical to her own.

"Bei Heigou, thank you!"

Li Mumu expressed her gratitude again.

Bei Mo snorted and then fell silent.

When school let out in the afternoon, Li Mumu rushed ho and imdiately handed the notebook to Chongchong: "Mommy, I’ve finished writing a hundred apologies."

"So quickly?" Gu Chongchong, who was illustrating, looked slightly surprised at the little girl and then put down the rose she was holding before opening the notebook for a glance.

It was indeed completed...

But the handwriting towards the end looked a bit strange...

However, Chongchong didn’t think much of it and, after closing the notebook, gestured for her to co over.

"It’s good you realize your mistake. Make sure you never do sothing like this again, understand?"

Li Mumu nodded obediently, "Understood, Mommy."

"Does your hand still hurt?" Chongchong noticed the little girl still had a band-aid on her finger.

She had noticed it a couple of days ago but was too angry at the little girl to ask, even though she was worried deep down. She secretly arranged for the best dicine for her.

Li Mumu shook her little head, "It’s okay now, Mommy."

"That’s good, co on, let’s go have dinner." Chongchong got up from the wicker chair and led the little girl towards the dining room.

The night passed quietly...

The next day at school, as soon as Li Mumu arrived in the classroom, she ran over to Bei Mo on her short little legs.

"Bei Heigou, Bei Heigou, my mommy didn’t realize you wrote the words at the end, and she’s already forgiven ! Thank you so much!"

"Aren’t you tired of saying thanks all the ti? I’m tired of hearing it, go buy a bottle of Sprite from the shop." Though you should feel good when soone thanks you for helping them out, Bei Mo felt uncomfortable all over.

He still preferred the bold Li Mumu who dared to challenge him and argue.

If he dared to order her around like this before, Li Mumu would definitely have exploded in rage, but now she nodded, "Okay, wait for a mont, I’ll be right back."

He had helped her so much, so of course, she could go buy him a drink.

With that, the little girl dashed off toward the shop.

After grabbing two bottles of Sprite from the shelf, Li Mumu lined up to pay.

The kindergarten shop was always popular, and the paynt line was as long as a dragon.

It took quite a while before Li Mumu finally reached the cashier.

She hurriedly placed the two bottles of Sprite on the counter, "Auntie, two bottles of Sprite."

"Ten dollars," the cashier auntie said while scanning the items.

"Okay." Li Mumu nodded, and her small hands reached into her pockets to find so change.

She felt her left pocket, empty.

Then she felt her right pocket, still empty.

Sweat suddenly broke out on Li Mumu’s forehead, and she swallowed hard.

Had she...

forgotten to bring money?

The kids behind her saw that she wasn’t paying and couldn’t help but urge, "Hey, the one at the front, are you buying or not?"

"Yeah, if you can’t afford it, don’t block the way!"

"So annoying."

Li Mumu blushed so red it almost dripped, just as she was about to give up buying, a pleasant voice suddenly sounded from behind her, "Did you forget to bring money?"

Li Mumu turned her head and saw a little boy, about five years old, blinking his eyes at her.

He wore a blue and white kindergarten uniform, with refined and delicate features, a prominent nose, thin lips curved gently, and an aura as gentle as jade.
