In the Elven Realm (Alviheim), there are two lands, two primary lands.
One is the Lands of the Day, lighted by the Sun and the other is the Lands of the Night, lighted by the Moon.
In the Lands of the Night, the Elves of the Day like the Fla Elves, the Sea Elves, and the other Elves, etc, believed that in they themselves could turn into Dark Elves if they stay in the Lands of the Night for too long in their cleansing of that place.
Thus, in every conquest, the Day Elves will attack in full force to minimize their ti duration in the Lands of the Night, it's their strategy based on this belief.
