Anyone, when quarreling, often can’t control their own mouth and dares to spit out even the nastiest of remarks, simply because their mind is muddled by rage, inadvertently letting words rush out without realizing what they’ve actually said.

At this point, Hua Xiaomai was also struggling to contain her anger. She helped Old Lady ng back to her room and had her seated at the table. After serving her a cup of tea, she left with the words, "Mother, you stay here and don’t worry about anything else," before storming back out.

"Your room?" Hua Xiaomai turned and sneered, "A side house becos yours after just two days of staying there? Get it straight, this is my house, and I can go into whichever room I please!" With that, she made to enter again.
Now Tang Maolin started to suspect she wasn’t up to anything good and, growing anxious, urged Ding to hurry up and block her, while he rushed forward himself.
Hua Xiaomai simply turned back, clinging to the door fra with determination, and said in a deep voice, "You’d better think carefully. If anyone dares take one step forward and touch , I’ll imdiately sit down on the ground. If anything happens to the child in my womb, you’ll pay for it with your skin!"
She practically spat out each word through clenched teeth, her voice not loud but her expression frightening.
That family of three wasn’t foolish enough to take her on and, thus intimidated, they dared not advance. Hua Xiaomai smirked lightly and turned to dart into the side house.
The Tang family had been living in the ng household for just over half a month, having evidently co to escape so trouble. They didn’t have anything particularly valuable, just a lot of odds and ends. Hua Xiaomai didn’t care to sort through them, instead she hurriedly stuffed items into a bag. Before long, she cleared out the room and moved on to another side house, swiftly packing away Tang Dongyan’s belongings as well and dragging everything out to the courtyard entrance, where she tossed it outside with a ’plop’.
Doing all these tasks took so effort, and she inevitably got a bit winded. After standing and catching her breath for a while, she approached the family of three, pointing coldly at the courtyard entrance and said bluntly, "Out."
Perhaps it was her fierce deanor that unsettled him, but Tang Maolin seed at a loss. Realizing he was a man and an elder, and feeling it was improper to argue with soone younger, he pushed Ding forward to speak.
